Hi i am restoring a manta ray and wanted to know what colour the front uprights are as mine has 1 red and 1 black. Also are they the same uprights used on the tamiya ta 01 02

Yeah thats what i was thinking and as i am restoring it i want to put the right stuff on it so will keep a look out for a black 1 with the 2 resistors

Hi i bought a vintage frog about 5 years ago to restore but never got round to it and have now got it out to start on i noticed alot of pictures i have seen had the black msc with 2 resistors but mine has a brown coloured one with 1 resisteor was there a variation or is the brown one wrong

It would be nice to restore with the stuff it would of had back in the day i know its only gona sit on the shelf but would be good to have it correct and working

Hi i am doing my first tamiya restoration on a vintage subaru brat but do not know much about the msc i put power to the electrics to check servos and msc and motor and all works i ran it up at about half throttle for 5 to 10 seconds and noticed the white resistor packs on the msc had a little bit of smoke coming from them and got mega hot i am asuming this is not normal

Yeah i have been looking i have everything i need now i was also wanting to know if there is any thing i can do to get the grey chassis looking like new as it has like a yellow ish stain on it dont know if the sun has fadded it or what it is

Yeah it is mate i have had a little look on ebay and cant find much for it luckly i have managed to find a couple of bits and pieces that a friend had so they will alow me to get started on the resto of it

Thanks for the advice i am looking for a chassis body mounts and front bumper i dont know if the re release stuff is much difrent but would rather use vintage stuff cheers
