  1. Yes,the black pipe with the clunk filter is the feed to the lower conection of the carb. The yellow is the return from the primer bubble housing to the tank and the other two via the Y piece is the breather.
  2. That is a standard M03,the M03R does not have an aluminium chassis ,it has a chrome plated plastic chassis. The R has alloy hubs and some other alloy parts and clear blue plastic shock bodys.
  3. They are talking about the large 540 size mamba for 1/10 cars not the baby 270/300 size mamba for 1/18 Both are superb systems when you get them in the right cars. I use the Big Mamba in my B4, 1/10 buggy and i have several different Kv mambas in various 1/18 -1/16 micro cars and have been running lipos for 2-3 years. This is new technology and providing you read up and know what you are doing it is unbeatable IMO.
  4. Hi Scott, Yes the prices have gone up a little, but so has the rent,i guess that is the difference between bashing and racing. At a race meeting/venue you have to pay for upkeep/rent,buying trophies, paying the electric costs, race timing equipment and everything else and bashing you don`t. We give our time for free and get loads of flack when things go wrong,if anyone would like to get involved with putting banners out on race/practice days,we do have a great selection(we can not leave them out because they get stolen) help with the carparking, updating the website or trying to get prizes out of sponsors ect, please come and see us and get stuck in. Cheers Simon F
  5. I ran a Nosram matrix and 5 star brushless motor, with 4800maH lipo in my Tamiya TT01R,i used the standard kit spur gear and the smallest pinion for accelleration. It was crazy fast ,really good fun and i wore the chassis out totally.Ended up locking the diffs ,burning out drift tyres, blowing tyres off rims ect.Top stuff.I then transplanted it all into a Tamiya DF02 Gravel Hound, geared that down as much as poss and had loads of fun with that, although it kept on thermal tripping because of poor air flow.15 + minute run times too. I have just transplanted all the electrics into a Genetic 4WD Mini, will see how that goes
  6. This looks like a great meeting for you Nitro guys, with some superb prizes. Get practicing and have a go
  7. Hello, mabe if you got involved at The Nook, joined the club/BRCA and turned out for a work day or suggested a work day you could make it challenging enough for you? We now have a 4meter crossover and as of yesterday a new track layout. If you know us at The Nook, you should also know we are keeping our eyes open for a new venue because the new housing estate gets closer every week. Why not work with us,have we not proved ourselves over the last 6 -7 years by providing a safe place for IC powered RC ? I am totally miffed by the poster saying we did not help,we have tried our best to help, promote and support all petrol and nitro RC drivers over the years. The Nook has hosted large scale off road National meetings and we try to have at least 1 fully organised club meeting every month ,with the latest digital AMB lap counting system, where every one is welcome. If you are new to RC it is best to come over on one of the Sundays that is not a race day, there are usually plenty of experianced drivers who would gladly help you out if you ask. If you are determined to set out an alternative to The Nook, then feel free to ask for help,we will do what we can to assist you. Yours sincerly, Simon Forrest Treasurer for The Nook. BRCA-LSOR Secretary.
