I think I'm running a 19t pinion in mine, I think its an FTX Siege one! Will have a think, as I'll be buying 2 brushless setups and will have to think about more batteries! Will do one at a time! Just to make sure it is running ok!

The 3300kv one I've seen has a 5mm shaft? Is that the same as yours? What pinion are you using? To be honest, I've not had any pinions or spurs go yet even on my brushless.

Which brushless motor would you get for the FTX Carnage, 3300KV, 3900kv or 4300kv. It will be used by my kids..who will be using it on short grass and can handle a bit of speed as the area we use is pretty open!

The stock transmitter is it worth keeping? I've got my Spektrum DX3s which I really like the feel of. I'm tempted to use that in the X-Maxx, but the bundle I have comes with the bluetooth module to connect to the phone. I wouldn't use the self right as I've heard too many bad things about it and I'm not shy of sending the kids to flip it over 😉 If I were to sell the stock controller with the BT whats it worth?

Yep!! That's brill! The manual I had only had the instructions for the black esc which wasn't lipo compatible.

Cool, I've already ordered them. I know there is a way to change the original blue esc from nimh to lipo but rather me use trail and error does anyone know exactly?
