after 8-10 meetings, what happens, does the tread wear away? what happens if you keep running them?

Do T27's come in different compounds? We may allow spikes but they would wear too fast i think.

We are changing our club rules and now insist on members using rubber tyres instead of foams, We race 4WD 1/10 saloons on an indoor carpet track. Which rubber tyre is going to give grip closest to foams please? Thanks.
