The kit will feature a narrow, 75mm wide chassis, a sliding servo mount for easy steering Ackermann adjustment, adjustable wheelbase and a sliding rear axle mount for step-less rear axle height adjustment. Italian engine manufacturer Reds Racing, known for their Mario Rossi tuned high-performance nitro engines, now also enter the electric motor market with the introduction of the VX 540 sensored brushless motors. Build around a CNC-machined 6061-T6 heatsink can with large venting holes the motors feature balanced sintered rotors, high-purity copper windings, heavy-duty solder tabs, high RPM ball bearings and a red anodised timing shield. During last week's Nuremberg International Toyfair Team Durango lifted the curtain and presented their first ever on-road kit in the form of the DETC410 4WD electric touring car. Hugely successful already in prototype stages the kit will soon hit the store shelves featuring a 2.25mm carbon fibre main chassis and 2mm upper deck, all-aluminium bulkheads and motor mount, all-alloy suspension mounts with composite inserts for toe, anti-squat and anti-dive settings, as well a lightweight front spool and rear gear differential. Included in the kit is also an adjustable composite battery mount, a carbon fibre floating servo mount as well as aluminium driveshafts with the front one being of a dual joint type. Other tuning features include composite inserts for the front castor and rear wheel hubs, the kit comes including anti-roll bars and newly designed aluminium body shock absorbers. New from Xray comes a black anodised aluminium chassis for the T4'14 touring car kit. Made from 2mm 7075-T6 material the chassis is 2mm narrower than the stock carbon fibre chassis and it is specially designed for medium to high traction surfaces.
