  1. Castle Creations introduce the Sidewinder 8th sensorless brushless speed controller. Announced as a 90A "Sport" offering the speedo features a strong 5.5V BEC with 4.5 to 8A output current, it is programmable using the Castle Link USB adapter and sports large 6.5mm bullet type connectors for the motor.   2. MIP introduce the Mod Puck System driveshafts for the Schumacher Cougar KR and SV2. Making use of the Puck System that was introduced for stock racing classes the Mod Puck series is of a higher strength to cope with the rigours of modified and boosted stock racing. Included in the set are shiny C-CVD druveshafts, steel outdrives, a suitable thrust race as well as all needed parts to mount the cushion-type Puck System
  3. Powerstar Racing introduce the PM-1610 high voltage brushless servo. Offering an all-aluminium case, titanium and stainless steel gears as well as a brushless motor the servo is good for transit times of down to 0.09s and a torque of 18kg-cm when powered with 8.4V input.   4. Exotek have new option parts for Xray's XB4 line of 2WD and 4WD buggies available. First up are aluminium upper shock caps that come including shock bushings and bleeder screw O-rings. The parts need the XB4'14 O-ring seals but are otherwise a direct replacement for all XB4-based vehicles. They are available in Xray orange and polished black colour. Also new are aluminium shock collars in orange colour. They offer a notch that makes adjustment reference easier and they are a direct replacement for the stock parts. Last but not least are aluminium spring perches, again the parts are of a heavy duty design to make for additional rigidity.   5. Yeah Racing have new brushless speed controllers and sensored brushless motors available in the form of the Hacktronic ESCs and Hackmoto XTA motors. The controllers are available in three different specifications for touring cars, drift cars and rock crawlers. All base on the same hardware but differ in terms of software specification with the Hacktronic-T Touring Turbo offering the whole mumbojumbo of adjustable boost and timing settings to get the most out of modified and stock motors. The drift variant also offers adjustable timing settings and also an RPM lock and release curve setting to adjust the car to the given traction and track conditions. Last but not least comes the rock crawler variant with specially designed brake and holding functions. All controllers differ by the case design but are 1S to 2S LiPo-compatible, they feature a 6V/3A BEC system, 5.5T motor limit and they come including a 25mm fan unit. All software parameters are adjustable using an optional programming box or USB interface and they are available separately or a specific packages including a Hackmoto XTA 5.5T (touring), 7.5T (drift) or 21.5T (crawler) motor. As for the Hackmoto XTA motors, they are of a sensored design, feature a gunmetal anodised aluminium can, adjustable timing, high purity copper windings and high quality neodymium magnets.   6. Asian company CSO introduce the Super-V3 flexible chassis conversion kit for their CSO-One touring car as well as the Team C TC10 and the Xray T4 platform. The set includes a new carbon fibre main chassis, a new centrally mounted motor and layshaft mount as well as aluminium centre pulleys and a new topdeck. By the looks of things the V3 kit makes for improved and virtually tweak-free left-to-right chassis flex due to the motor mount being mounted to the centre line of the chassis and the kit will come with or without aluminium (split) suspension mounts.   8. Hi guys need your advice on a lense I bought. I Bought a 55 - 250 mm IS lense 2nd hand off eBay. Don't really know much about photography I'm fairly new to it, the lense I received today makes a sound when I press the shutter half way down and doesn't stop, Like a faint crackling sound as if a the motor is on?? Second thing I noticed was when I looked from the view finder, the information display disappears sometimes, Please see attached video regards to the noise and is there anything you could advise me on, is it faulty or is that normal? Based on the MR-03 chassis the sets offer a front double wishbone suspension, a spring-loaded rear power pod and a low centre of gravity chassis design. The Sports line also includes a 2.4GHz radio system, the receiver/speed controller unit as well as a coreless motor steering servo.   13. Coming soon from VP Pro is the Friction 1/10th buggy "indoor" tyre. Offering a new tread design with an outer horseshoe-shaped pattern for side bite and inner ribs for added forward traction the tyres are made to work on hard-packed (indoor) clay surfaces.   16. Team Losi Racing introduce a cab forward bodyshell for their TLR 22-4 4WD buggy. Featuring quite a hefty cab forward design the body is meant to improve the steering input while also offering more airflow towards the rear wing thanks to a plain rear section.   17. German RB Products distributor RMV Deutschland introduce the RB TX-R LS3 .12 nitro engine. The updated version of the TX-R features a new 14.75mm long stroke design, a 3+1 port liner, CNC-machined lightweight piston and many other features such as an oversized 11.9mm crankshaft, 6.5mm carburettor with long 5.48mm venturi insert, O-ring sealed turbo combustion insert and a black anodised crankcase.   18. Speed Passion introduce the latest incarnation of their Reventon Pro speedo called the Pro 1.1 EX. Coming in a new, smaller case that now only measures 35x35x20mm (without fan) the ESC features a 6V/3A BEC system, 1S to 2S LiPo support, and included comes a new low-profile fan but no programming card or USB cable.
