  1. i bought some racing slick tamiya tyres but they did'nt last long at all we used em outside, when they were used on carpet at the club they were nearly bold, and just did'nt grip. a guy there said if racing on carpet use certain wheels for carpet and others for road, this is apparently because of all the crap and oils on the road surface sticks to the tyres and makes them useless indoors. so maybe if i got more tyres and just used them indoors they'd handle better? as far as i can see directional tyres handle much better on carpet, my brother got some and they seem to be pretty good! also were just using the standard kit suspension, so we'll defo invest in some oil shocks!
  2. hi there everyone i'm new to the rc scene, me and my brother bought tt01's for xmas, we've found a local club to race at after a few weeks of bashing around outside our house. my question is how do we make our cars handle better, both cars are fully ballraced with ally propshaft, we both have 15turn limit speed controllers and cheap 19t motors. we have been told to spend about £30 on a descent motor but we have grip issues as it is and i cant see them lasting if were goin faster with no handling. does the adjustable steering arms and upper wishbones make any difference? any help with this would be great. p.s sorry if this is a similar post to ohers but were really getting quite frustrated. many thanks, dave and andy
