  1. What cash would you be looking for? Got a pic of them?
  2. Second that, exactly my experience as well! I mostly run on sand and soft dirt as well, they don't seem to wear.
  3. I'm a bit confused. I'm seeing lots of guys here being over the moon with the Trencher tires on their Monster Trucks. I cannot imagine them being so wrong on a 5th scale truck then?
  4. Ok, but how about a topping up charge then before you go? And most importantly, is it harmful to leave them fully charged? How??
  5. Great find! Curious about it's "performance".
  6. Found this bag for the Baja 5B in the Netherlands. I might get one. http://link.marktplaats.nl/417034343 Still I'll have to find someting for the huge 5T.
  7. How do you charge them up or down to let's say approx. 7.5V without a charger that has a specific function for that? I keep mine fully charged and untouched for several months sometimes. What are the risks?
  8. The cap sure looks to be working pretty well! If you find a black one, let us know! Got a question: If you run it BL like you do, I guess you've had to turn up the shocks preload quite a bit to get the handling right at higher speeds? Don't you miss the crawling abilities then? Because crawling means having lots of suspension travel...
  9. I'd advise you the same thing, I love that truck! Can't help you on your question though. [edit] Well I can. You could just buy some Turnigy 5000 Mah 2S (and a Novak LVC then). They work great and are very cheap! The lipos will give a lot more oomph than the Nimh's.
  10. If you buy the Pro-line Tech 5 rims separately instead of pre-mounted, do they have the right off-set then? That sounds bizarre
  11. Well, on a 5th scale it really is a must! Make it a day trip if you're far away.
  12. Your summit is for sale, why do you even bother?
  13. Well indeed, when looking at them, they do kinda give it away. However, went to the beach today and took the 5T on semi worn rear stock tires and it was just awesome! I've managed loooong and fast counter-steer power slides on the semi wet sand, and it had still reasonable traction in the dry sand, I was pretty amazed! Great fun! Even managed to be chased by a Greyhound dog that had no real issues with the speed In the end he gave up lol.
  14. Hehe, looks great! Is that basically just the thingie you would find in your grannies bathroom?
  15. Now that's a crisp and clear how-to!
  16. I've soldered Deans on all my Turnigy packs with a 50W iron. Like said thin the wires first, and you'll be fine. Use some soldering grease and it's very easy! I've held the deans connector in place on the table with a 3rd hand clamp. A second 3rd hand (well a 4th then really ) to hold the wires onto the deans. Which leaves your both hands free to hold the iron and the solder. Don't forget to put over some shrink tube before you solder. There are a lot of irons on ebay, any power you want.
  17. OMG, look at that vid. They look like nitro truggies with that power/weight ratio.
  18. Imo the crushers look more "truckish" than the MXT's It they're any good, I might go for them instead then. If I need more traction, I've still got the 5B with the Pro-line Badlands on, which I've liked until now. Will go for Nightmares hard when the Badlands have worn.
  19. The parallel idea is great, would have never thought of that! 30 mph is just great with a Summit! Sounds very appealing to me hmmm. When you do the shower cap, put some pics up!
