No, they are for the steering, they are anodised black but you can still see them in their shiny glory: The stock servo saver can bend/break and isn't consistent as it can be. The threshold part stops it bending by anchoring it round the steering post and the DS part has redesigned geometry which helps with getting more steering lock. They are a worthwhile upgrade.

A lot of knowledge was gained (and probably still is) from his posts on here and in private messages. I would of loved to have met him, even on the end of a keyboard he seemed like a real nice down to earth, true to his word bloke... we need more of those. Rest in peace Carl.

Saw a couple on youtube and they look wicked fun so I've decided to grab myself one. So what's out there that I should know? Is it worth getting a VXL or should I just grab an XL5 then skip ahead to the tenbol mount and cheap BL system... etc Cheers guys. Stu

Selling as it's just sitting in the 'shop gathering dust. There are some minor bleeds (worst one is on the rear of the shell) and a couple of scratches but none are noticeable when fitted up. I'll also include some chacal risers as these are what the holes were cut for. I'm asking

No you got that wrong. Build it - Change set up - Install upgrades - Decide you'd rather have the 5t version - Rebuild with 5t parts - Buy new hopups as 5b ones no longer work with the 5t - Rebuild again - Decide you don't like the way it looks as a 5t - Sell 5t parts - Sell 5t hopups - Re-buy 5b hopups as the 5t ones now won't work with the 5b - Decide it's getting too expensive - Sell it.

It's something like a "magic wheel" which is a t-maxx clone. A good amount of parts are interchangeable but some important ones aren't. Personally I'd say no.

Leaner is longer, yes. Some engines also have changeable venturi's which limit fuel/air intake so you can run longer. Only problem is you'll lose a bit of power too.
