  1. Looks like I've got 1 on the way!!!!
  2. Just wondering if it was worth
  3. If you've decided on spliting I'd be interested in the RB Concept S7 engine.
  4. Quick question really, would any of you recommend using this starter box??? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SMD-Starter-Box-w-77...1QQcmdZViewItem Thanks in advance Edit: typo
  5. And we wonder why the crime rate is so high Serious points to make whilst reading through this thread. 1. Any knife over 3" is ILLEGAL Any lock knife is ILLEGAL Any switch blade style knife is ILLEGAL I have asked several police regarding this matter as I carry 2 knives with me whilst working, they a sheathed, not hidden on my body- This includes in the pocket, and as I am in work clothes and at proving I'm at work, have a just reason to carry them, after work they get taken off and put in my bag. To the poster who said they carry a knife, be VERY careful, the police are being very funny about this, especially if you are a teenager, they already have a pre-disposed opinion of you. 2. Bashing on a golf course is not fun (OK it is), you'll not be doing the RC cause any good by doing this, They are great places to play, hell when I was a lad (in a 1920's hovis style Yorkshire accent) I used to bomb the local course on a mountain bike, those sand traps were great for flying over. But we were aimed at as well, and we tend to get marginalised and chased after by the police and grounds keepers et al. Find a large open public land, they can't-to my knowledge- do you for it, as long as you're not aiming at anyone or causing a public nuisance then you should be fine. Private land, try and get the owners permission first.
  6. This is the Anodised one as well, can't wait till I've put the car back together to try it out!!!
  7. Shame about my driving rofl;) Yeah as said Hyper 8 hubs dropped straight in with no problem, seem a bit more robust as well, they took a battering when the steering servo went and I was all over the track!!!
  8. My 995's died during a race on sunday!!! Though I'm happy now because 30 mins ago my Jammin JP-3 pipe came with the post
  9. To be fair this happens to me and I'm running a 40mhz set up (not for long though!)

Its not bottle, I just lack feeling shame at finishing (I think) last and flying off the track every corner C/hubs cost
  11. GET THE CNC KNUCKLES AND GET CNC WHEEL HUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me you WILL need them My stock hyper came with 17 degree hubs as standard, not sure why you got 20's, though I brought a set of Hyper 8 20 degree c hubs today at a race meet, and they drop in just fine, not sure exactly what it means but I think its to do with the angle they turn, experianced heads will correct/confirm that. Oh welcome to the most infuriating yet adictive hobby known to man

Well that was fun, Got hit by 3 cars, had my finger almost sliced off when I was marshaling the last race by an over-reving car. Was too impatient to wait for smithy, and brought a wing mount from a shop truck that was racing as well (the blokes running it not the truck!!!) Killed my C hubs......... Twice!!! Killed my Tower Pro mg995 steering servo, then killed the bog standard one that comes with the Hyper 7 in the last race. My times are appaling, but as it was my first ever time on a track and therefore my first EVER race, I'll stick by that excuse. Smithy said hello, nice lad, hope to catch you at another meeting! Cost me a fortune, its going to cost me a fortune to repair the damage. Dam it was a bad day Can't wait for the next 1!!!!!
  13. Yeah the Hyper .21 is the way to go. I've got one, no complaints with it, though I recon I've spent as much on it, up grading as I did to buy it, But I'm loving it!!! And you're all 15?!?!?! God I feel REALLY old, I'm, 32 ffs!!!!!
