Yeah im pretty sure im after a road car as we have a really big flat promenade here and some awesome smooth surfaced car parks, plus my mate has just bought an HPI 3cc evo+ something or other so it would be good to get som racing going on hehe Ive been thinking about buying second hand but i read somewhere (might have been on this forum) that you can knacker an engine on one tank of fuel so id rather buy something brand new. I could probably stretch to about £160 but im really skint cos im off work just now as i ripped a few ligaments in my knee and have had a couple of operations (not good lol). Hey folks, while i wait for my refund from paypal ive been trying to sort out this ancient car i have, its a kyosho something, its got a GS11X engine and ive just got it a new drive belt and a cuple other bits and bobs. The problem is that now ive put it all back together again i can get the engine to run properly at all and its quite disheartening. It starts fine, no problem but it doesnt idle properly, it wont accelerate properly its very slow and sluggish and i have no idea what the base settings on the carb should be. Its at least 10 years old and i can only see 2 screws on the carb, one opens the throttle and the other one has the fuel line going into it so im guessing thats the HSN? maybe? Any ideas people? cheers guys, when i bought it i was sort of n a rush so didnt pay as close attention to the detail as i should have, but ive learned my lesson haha, im getting my cash back and will buy another one. Im going to have to wait till i get the refund before i buy a new one so the ones i posted will probably have finished by then. Hey, I bought this item Nitro car on ebay and the b*stard never sent it so now im having to trawl through the paypal process of getting my cash back and hoping they decide in my favour.... Basically im looking for a nitro road car for about £120 and i know theres not a lot of good ones available for that price. Was just wondering if there was anything you could reccomend? I was looking for something with a .15 or .18 engine and if possible a metal chassis...... Do these look any good? Have you checked your low and high speed screws are adjusted correctly? Also make sure your exhaust is tight onto the engine. Damo

Hows it goin people? Aye so ive been into nitro cars for a while but the one ive been using was found at the back of my father in laws shed.... turns out he bought it for his son aaaaages ago! I stripped it all down and found it needed a new belt drive belt and a couple other bits and bobs but im having huge trouble getting the belt because its so old!! Not many places stock 11 year old kyosho belts so the local model shop said theyd order one but its been almost a month now and it doesnt look good. So anyways, i bought another on on ebay tonight!! heres the link: EBAY ITEM Its a .18 engine which is about 3.0cc right? I asked the guy a couple questions and ascertained it has a metal baseplate and is in pretty good condition. So what do you guys make of it? As a starter car to get me into it better? Im off work just now so ill no doubt be on here waaaaay too much haha cheers Damo
