  1. hey guys.... Im very glad to finally be able to announce our new rear tyre for the Baja 5b is now available from ourselves and all major retailers including DDM, Wheelspin, MMR, BigFatRCtech, Abbots, Bullet RC etc etc. The Viper Super Spike has been in development for over 10 months and we wanted to bring a new tyre option to market specifically to give outstanding grip on all major off road surfaces, not only that but we wanted to bring a true Zero Growth tyre to the market to make ballooning a thing of the past for all engine types. This tyre is the most advanced so far for your Baja with a fully belted internally moulded carcass, a 2mm thicker carcass wall and superior grip pattern. Suitable for any rear wheel and beadlock combination and any foam insert, meaning you can benefit from a true Zero Growth tyre while using any foam you like. So heres the pics along with some of the tyre going through its paces at bashfest recently. Thanks for looking. 8. Yes people i can finally say the UberRC Ball Drive for your beloved 5ive-T is finally here. Thanks to all who have been waiting patiently on this one and your emails of support and questions over this product has been much appreciated since we started tweaking and testing this last september. Available directly from ourselves at the following link: UberRC Losi 5ive-T Ball Drive or from DDM within about a week or so. Heres the blurb and a pic, thanks for looking. ---------------------- Introducing a first for the Losi 5ive-T we are pleased to announce The UberRC HD Ball Drive System is now available. At this initial stage we have concentrated on the front central drive section, this is the most problematic area on the stock setup where users see an increased rate of wear on the angled dogbone setup. We are pleased to announce our Ball Drive system completely eradicates that issue with this perfectly smooth rotating system. The UberRC HD Ball Drive System features x5 ball bearings spaced around the ball end to provide a perfectly smooth drive at the required drive shaft angle and gives 5 points of contact inside the cups as opposed to 2 with standard systems. Featuring a 9mm thick dogbone, we have purposely aimed this at all users running high end big power plant engines or stock engines alike. No more broken or worn pins/cups with this system, simply grease it, run it, love it and forget about it. All components have been precision engineered from the highest grade steel suitable for the application at hand. The UberRC Ball Drive system for 5ive-T comes complete with everything you need: x1 9mm thick HD Ball Drive Dogbone x1 HD Ball Drive cup (Central Drive) x1 HD Ball Drive cup (Front Diff end) x5 Spare Ball Bearings x1 Exclusive UberRC HD Ball Drive sticker Lifetime Warranty Leaflet -UPDATE- We have developed this system for the Losi 5ive-T off the back of our highly successful HPI Baja Ball Drive system, with that in mind we have carried across the extensive testing done on that system over the past 2 years and are now on version 4 of the Ball Drive system, with ongoing research to maximise strength we have made further improvements and are continuing to cover all components under warranty. Notable improvements with this v4 are: Flaired Cup design to further increase side wall strength. Dogbones now retain the factory fitted bearings even better. Advanced Heat Treatment to increase system lifetime. We are giving all customers a LIFETIME WARRANTY on the ENTIRE SYSTEM... if any component fails - we replace it FREE of charge. -------------- Fitting is a simply and quick job, remove your stock parts and reverse fit this system, the only difference is sliding the brake disc onto the central drive shaft before fitting to the central gear housing. Everything else is as stock fitting, meaning your up and running in minutes with the best and most reliable solution to the worn out angled drive shaft. -------------- Losi 5ive-T Ball Drive System - Simply grease it, Run it, Love it and Forget about it.

These nuts have been specifically designed to feature the Losi 5ive-T thread so are ideal for use on your 5ive-T and will completely stop the build up of mud and dirt within the drive shaft end when using standard hubs. 10. Good stuff guys and good to hear you had a blast on that track. Sorry i couldnt make it, missus pulled a fast one on me at the last minute One of my guys, Matt, made it to you with his Vorza. Will hook up with you lot soon im sure. Mrp
  11. You guys may well not be aware of what we do at MMR Largescale every winter so here goes.... For the past 4 years weve held what we call The Indoor Winter Series. Its been primarily aimed at largescale owners but has always been open to any car type and scale. Anyways we had a good turn out at round 1 a couple of weeks back and we have now booked the date for what is traditionally the Xmas Bash. For those who arent aware of MMR Largescale its a model shop located inside an old WW2 aircraft hanger at Hullavington Chippenham.... they dont just do largescale so others are catered for to some degree. The main business is a karting centre - M4Karting. So at Xmas we do a discounted karting grand prix and afterwards get the cars out on a modified track to race in a fun manner with timing gear setup to see how weve all done over a 15min race. Anyways my point of this post is to invite anyone who fancies a good karting session and the chance to run an RC afterwards along. We split the racing of RCs into classes and i see no reason if theres enough smaller scale cars there that we cant run specific small scale races as well as the big stuff. So that will mean you wont be on track with the 1/5th and risk your beloved car getting flattened. Anyways the date is set for the 27th dec and we must be up there for 5.30pm for booking in, kart safety briefing etc etc and we tend to finish around 11pm ish. Theres a bunch of us from Bristol and we tend to meet up at the KFC at Avon Meads beforehand for a quick bite to eat and then head along the M4 to MMR. All are welcome to join us, if you need more details etc simply ask. Its a great night of RC madness and a chance to show your skills in a kart once a year too. Mrp
  12. Im pretty sure theres no height limit as the entrance hasnt changed from the google street view image above. What is different from this pic is the track which is now in the location ive marked. Theres a school to the left and directly behind this camera view is Clip Display. Ive got a few of my guys wanting to do something this sunday so its possible well be here for a run, if we do well aim for around 1 to 1.30pm ish. Mrp
  13. Its just a very short stroll across the width of a footy pitch from your car boot to the track. Ive not tried it on a weekend as i can get there now and again through the week for R&D purposes I would imagine on a weekend youll have to share it with some kids on bikes but shouldnt be too bad as Wick is out of the way so it will only be locals using it. If your planning on doing a sunday afternoon sometime soon let me know and ill try and get there and bring a couple of others too. Mrp
  14. Heres a little vid of the Wick track running my B4.1: http://youtu.be/GHMB3Q6qztw Definately a sweet track for quiet electrics, take anything noisy there during the school day and your likely to get grief from a teacher or headmaster, mate of mines already been kicked off using his baja there. Mrp
  15. Hey guys, man i should get on here more often A few of my guys have recently got themselves into 1/10th electrics... mainly the B4.1 and were doing the rounds of finding tracks and bash locations in bristol. St George weve been to 3 times in the past week and since the rebuilt areas have been done its a definate 9 out of 10 location now. If you can get there during the day midweek youll have the place pretty much to yourself and its well worth it... some stunning runs can be found and some big air and sweet tricks can be done. Plus.... theres a brand new BMX dirt track in Wick that literally just been completed. Its bigger than keynsham but not quite as big as Longwell green, but lots of whoops and doubles to get plenty of air and its just about possible to race your buddies around it. Be warned though theres a school right next to it and a mate of mine has already been thrown off for noise issues.... but he does have the loudest Baja in bristol. Were running electrics down there so no worries and it really is a top track for the smaller scale RCs. If you looking to check it out its pretty much opposite a business called 'Clip Display' in Wick, if your travelling from bristol side and you get to Tog hill youve gone way too far.... baasically in Wick village at the bottom theres a speed camera, its just after that on the left, theres a car park and open field with the track at the end... you cant miss it if you find the car park or Clip Display. Would be great to hook up with some others who run nitro or electric in the bristol area, this year has been very poor due to weather with our 1/5ths so weve gone the electric route to at least have some fun and not a massive clean up job of our cars and ourselves afterwards. Drop us an email or PM and ill do everything i can to get us hooked up in the Bristol area. [email protected] See ya soon. Mark
  16. lol nice one John.... ill look forward to discussing your design very soon matey. Mrp

  18. Ok guys weve just launched our very own 3rd Channel Kill Switch for only
  19. Ok guys im very happy to introduce our latest product for the 5ive-T. The UberRC Hub Extenders- Limited Edition. We recently revised our current popular Baja hubs with a few tweaks to suit the 5ive-T, These now use the standard thread so as you can see the stock wheel nut can be used and we amended a couple of other things to improve upon them even more. We are offering this as a Limited Edition for a short time in the Losi blue with laser engraved logo. We also offer them in our standard raw silver finish. This will be available from all major retailers very soon. Below is the blurb and some pics. Thanks for looking. Mrp
  20. Weve had no issue with residue from fumes at all since running this pipe almost 3 months ago now. Dyno was done on a 26cc. High temp O Rings are just that... High Temp. Im not on forums much at all these days, if you have genuine queries its always best to email us: [email protected] Thanks guys, i can assure you all, this pipes a banger on a Baja or a Losi. Mrp
  21. Predator V2 mate.... pics dont do it justice as it was an odd light when the promo pics were done. Its a good upgrade over the v1. Mrp
  22. Welds are one of those personal things really... some like the clean welded look and others like a more raw look... weve deliberately made a tough looking raw pipe to go with the increase in HP and Torque output. Thanks for looking guys. Mrp
  23. Finally weve sorted a Team MMUber Photo Gallery, theres a link on the left side of the UberRC homepage and from there you can check out some pics from events and bashes in conjunction with MMR ModelTech. Latest pics are from Kendals bash last month. Well do our best to keep things ticking along and freshen up the pics from time to time. Enjoy. Mrp
  24. Ok guys i am very happy to be able to announce the long awaited Predator V2 for Baja is here. Ive been running the prototype for several months now and its simply stunning... with a smooth power band but kicking out more HPs than our v1 pipe plus a revised header fitment with a 'No Leak Seal' theres now no excuse not to fit the ultimate rear mounted pipe available for the Baja. Pipe is available from ourselves along with MMR, Wheelspin and DDM very soon. Thanks for looking... heres the info and pics.... Mrp -------------------- Following the success of the first Predator pipe for the HPI Baja we have taken what made that pipe such a hit and built upon it for the V2 Predator. This V2 is a retuned and redesigned rear mount pipe for the Baja 5b, 5T and 5SC. Designed for both bashers and racers and engineered from Stainless Steel this pipe provides excellent durability. So what have we improved on the V2. Firstly the header connection now features a 'No Leak Seal' using a dual O Ring system the fit is perfect enabling zero leaks meaning not only will your Baja stay cleaner but ensuring no power loss from the coupling. Our other main change is the increase in expansion chamber size from the original, as you'll see from the Dyno results we have now pushed HP output well above the V1 and nicely above the ever popular Dominator. Our main design goal was not only to achieve a higher HP over the V1 but to also retain that smooth power curve that helped make the Predator so popular with veterans and new comers alike. We're happy to report the power band is silky smooth. Still featuring a solid 2 hole mount system and header spring retainer we believe this is truly the ultimate rear mount pipe for the Baja. Not only that but it bolts straight on to both standard engines and the BZM Micro and is supplied with both gaskets to suit your needs.
