Hi they are x2 3s batteries charging one at a time at 5 amp as batteries are 5000mah one battery has charged fine but the other has exceeded the charging time again the charger is a prophet sport plus 50w charger . Thanks

Hi all I’m relatively new to the electric side of modern rc cars. I’ve just bought a corally radix 6 and tried charging my new batteries and just not having any luck. first charge took 2 hrs and didn’t finish and flagged up error one cell to high voltage tried again then exceeded charging time. tried the second battery and did the same exceeded the charging time. these are brand new and plugged the balance lead in to. tried without the balance lead but won’t let me charge. These are rc core 5000mamp 70c Does this mean there faulty or need running in the car first then charge? I’m at a loss. cheers

What are your thought vs the Arrma?

This was my worry tbh with the radix . i don’t really want to be spending money to make it better if you know what I mean. What way do you think it needs upgrading? cheers

Hi all not had a Rc for nearly 15 years last one being a hyper 7 nitro! looking to get back into it but I need a little bit of advice from you lovely people. was looking at a tyhon 3s but decided I’m going go the whole hog and go 6s route. I’ve see. A corally radix 6 s for quite a bit less money what are peoples opinions on the corally? My next question is if it Arrma is the route to go do I spend a bit more money and go kraton 6 s big solid machine I know will be slower but actually might be better suited just for bashing. It would be for fun no racing i remember a few years ago looking hpi baja i swear they were more towards 550 rather than 700 may be wrong tho.Would the hpi be quite alot faster than a nitro considering the cost diff?

right il have to treat the girlfriend to something then so i can get one lol! i do like the look of the fg baja more than the hpi but thas my opinion!but the hpi has so much better reviews.Cant belive how much these ae compared to a nitro etc!

Hello! right iv had electric cars and nitro cars (buggies) and after having a few years without eaither i want to buy a new toy! Petrol seems the way bigger better and easier my nitro car was so unreliable! Any way i set out with a budget of 500 and soon relised its not enough! So im woundering whats the best i can get for

Because it needs a new engine,new hole front end, 4tyres, new fuel tank,new servo, new shocker ends,new electrics as i sold them! and a few plastic parts etc! so it will cost near the same in the end and i can have a brand new car os a rebuilt one which is 3 years old which has seen alot of action! so speaks for it self! just noticed there isnt much left of it lol one word (crash).......... I could buy another hyper but iv had one so thats why i thought of the hpi ?

Hi yes the hyper is not worth the cost of repairing, the hpi does look good i wounder what the speed is like compared to the hyper as that was a .28 the hpi is .21? I live in kingsley if you know where that is? near ipstones? where abouts do you go with your r.c car? i just go,well did go my girlfriends horses field and just made a track out of rope! cheers.

no it dosnt have to be a hyper what you guys think is good and fit the budget really.I recall my .28 being rather loud actually,not to worry.the black does look good dosnt it. regarding the wheels i assume any buggie wheel fit and lower the suspension and adjust the camber and it should be pretty good.

i did think that but its about 90 quid for a new one and and i need new servos and shocks etc and the car has had a fair bit of abuse so buying a new one would work out cheaper really. thankyou for the advice tho. so would you recommend the black then?? it does come with extra bits over the .28?

Hi just a quick one, im after a new r/c car i did have a hyper 7 .28 which i was happy with. It died about a year ago and the time has come to getting a new one as i have now settled in my new house have time to mess around with one. Anyway i have a budget of around 250 which i know isnt loads but was hoping some of you had good suggestions. I know loads how to fix them etc but dont know anything about spec etc compared to other models. I was looking at a hyper 7 black with the .21 engine in it. reason being i stil have my old hyper so could swap bits etc if anything broke.Rgarding the .21 how does it compare to the .28? i know the .28 cant be raced but im not bothered about comps and stuff. How does it compare speed wise? Is there any other models which might be worth considering? I could up the budget to 300 max but only if something realy stud out. I would love a 2sroke but to expensive i did buy a cheap one once for 400 but it was rubbish eveything broke on it so that went back! anyway thanks Damien.

ok thanks for the advise,the engine looks good which you mentioned. Now going back to what dom said yes i did set a topic up on maintanence and he answered my quetstion. And killing two birds with one stone in the same topic asked about an engine. I just wasnt sure if the oil should be changed etc and just felt stupid when noing NOW i should change it every now and then so in future il set a seperate topic for every thing!!!

how old is the engine and how much use? how much you lookin at for it? Did you mean the hole car?

i no i should of changed it but anyway it will be ok, il look round for an engine are these hyper .21 turbo engines any good?

Hi,i currently own a hyper 7 .28 and have done for a year without any trouble! Now i had a bit of an off the other month meaning some new suspension parts etc.Now i was just woundering as its all stripped down do i need re graase the diifs etc and re-oil the dampers i have never done this.The car is fine and no trouble but im just asking should i really do these maintance things? Also im in need of a new engine...Should i get the mac .28 agen or is the .21 turbo better or is there any other engine in the market which is better? I dont really want spend any more than around 110pound really if i can help it other wise by the time i have brought suspension parts and a few other bits and bobs it will add up to around 200pond which i can by a new one for. if some one can just give a bit of advise that would be great thanks damien.

ok thanks for the info! yes i did prime it and the engine isnt blocked. by trade im a mechanic but you guys no alot about these in terms of common faults.I have decided to take it back as its brand new and im having trouble already so what is there to come. From the advise from the guy saying replace those parts thanks, i think it would work out cheaper and easier to by the fg marder!!
