Dropped topspeed 35cc had in t2000 with modded dom silenced pipe foil taped underside of tank forgot needed reamer to make new holes for rear wing mounts. Shake down session did 4 tanks (new head fitted due to me using wrong length bolt on coil, snapped casting lug off head) first tank was rich an little thottle then 2nd tank started to open up on same settings then started with tiny tweeks to needles Now we're power lifting like my ol schumacer xtr3e Few things have to do for next outting so far luv it!!

Got 3/4 complete into build gotto thottle servo mount an seemed to be a right mission with tank clearance an cage, so opted to build Q kit put aside Baja Q Was hoping to use bzm pipe but requires some chopping an welding to suit Q chassis not overly keen on that one.. Visited mate for some random bits an got build together

More bits arrived to aid build Fitted anti roll bars dropped plate on, issue resolved with steering binding.

The rovan is just a kit chassis/ tower/tank/shell then use own gear from current baja ie front end /rear end/engine radio gear etc.. As I was at bashfest seen one in flesh an in action an like it very much it rolled afew times an all was fine had doubt about fuel tank location lol but for now my mind slightly put to rest. No one in bash groups in has one just usual shorties. Being as have km T2000(3 yrs) no harm in having a rovan stumpy alongside it tbh. So stopped by basher buddy earlier for some steering inserts he had laying about an i could visually see that 5b a 1mm slimmer than the t2000.

An seeing rovan Q shorty kit in action @bashfest eyeing up one of those .. Sourcing various parts from members here an wirhin few basher groups in an outlets Rc modelz,rcmax, irc etc... Been 3 weeks so far rounding up bits an pieces when spring up an spare pennys allow... Shocks where from one of my other cars but wasn't suited for it tbh gonna give an a rip on this build (in search for matching rear set)
