Guys, you have probably seen this a thousand times: where to start with RC cars? My 9 y.o. son is fed up with toy cars. 2-3 weeks and there is always something damaged, broken or that just stops working. And because it is a toy you can’t simply buy spare parts. So we came with an idea that we would like to go for real RC cars. I have some rc planes experience, can do this or that, not afraid of tools, and so on. All we know is we need something robust, off-road, not crazy big with good accessibility for spare parts in Germany (where we live). We need a car, transmitter, charger and a few akkus. Have to tell you that all of this electric stuff is black magic to me.
