  1. I have one of those. I destroyed the tip when I tried using lead free solder (kester) . The solder didn't flow like normal. Either, the iron wasn't getting hot enough (I've read that some people have had to reset device to fix it). In RC World, do people generally use leaded or lead free solder?
  2. That's a good tip, thanks. If I roll it without power, how far should it travel?
  3. Thanks, so with the throttle do you roll the trigger or jab it? Someone pointed out that when I was letting the throttle go to neutral, the wheels stopped turning - almost like it was braking. We reset the ESC (Hobbywing EZRUN Combo MAX10 3652SL 4000KV Motor) to prevent this but he said he could be better. Would this be a drag brake setting on my Hobbywing ESC?
  4. Hi all, Novice here and I'm looking for good tips, videos, articles on how to improve my driving. These are some that I've found (I'm racing on carpet atm) * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3cBsELT_Uc * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhFEhLGcyC4 * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uzu5YoWbVw * https://site.petitrc.com/Tech/IndoorDrivingRacingTips/ I had my first race last month. I think I was trying to drive too fast, so I'm going to work on being smooth and sticking to the racing line. When you go round corners, do you pump the throttle or fade it? Thanks for any tips - I need all advice going!
  5. Is there any benefit for a front wing for novice drivers?
