Hello! Just joined this forum to help me get this Carnage going. Just picked it up. It’s missed the controller and receiver🕹. It’s a brushed version. What do I need to get it running please? Thanks

Definitely in need of a full FM radio setup and a battery (7.2v) Other than that, it look good to go.

  2. Finally got round to a few more mods (due to crashes)  Alloy floor pan, It's a Chinese job but fits perfectly! latest was to fit a set of Injora shocks Via AliExpress. Very nice shocks! not had a chance to test drive it yet but feels much better. only gripe is that the ball joints are quite loose fitting.

  3. It's not a power issue really. I've got a goole combo installed. Seems the only programmer card  for it is the, worse then useless, dilwe one - I'm on my second since December, 2 or 3 uses and the bloody thing dies. Hobbywing look a whole lot more professionally made. Unless anyone knows of a programmer card that works with my combo ?

Shipping is a real killer. Great charger though. Similar on eBay are around £70 - Came without a Deans adaptor but they're not that expensive!

Just finished mine.... pics to follow. Looks far better than the original with the monster tyres.  you will have to drill a new hole for the front body mounting in the top plate. Not a hard job use the body to position the hole, then just a bit of cleaning up to do ☺️

If you look closely, you can see the position of the front body mount is about 15mm back from where you'd expect it to be. other than that nothing drastic to change. All you need is a rear wing mount set, a pair of vantage body mounts and a vantage shell

So what you're saying is, get the right parts and you could make a LWB Vantage. xD

All jokes aside(or are they?), that makes a bit of sense, seeing as the carnage is a MT which is meant to be a bit bigger.

  7. The stock spur gear lasted maybe a whole 3 Minutes when I upgraded my Carnage to brushless.

Yep 🤥, just changed the motor and esc as a start. Bought the Carnage 2nd hand for £50 as a bit of a project.... Originally for grandson but it's all mine now ha ha! in the process of fitting a Vantage shell now, should be interesting! Motor is a goolrc 3650 4300Kv now with a RW Racing 12 / 45 t steel spur and pinion combo.  Pinched the 3S 50C battery from my Riot plane!
