Broke the the front steering hub centre carrier but struggling to remove the pin soaked in wd40 but no luck, any ideas?

The reely raptor which is the same as the DR8 takes a 14T pinion. Found the following info about the 14T pinion for the raptor... Only with the additionally supplied 14-tooth sprocket is the maximum speed of 100 km/h can be achieved. The use of this motor pinion we recommend that only experienced pilots. Caution: braking distance, this will increase enormously. In addition, a higher load on the components. May stick with the stock pinion, play it safe lol

Ah ok, I'm happy with what i paid considering it included the 2 6s batteries, it looks new, looking forward to take it for a proper run, weather is terrible at the minute Has anyone upgraded the stock 12T pinion?

Ah ok so the wires connect to the receiver box which is in the self contained black box? I thought it would be wired into the esc as mentioned on the rc geeks blog review of the FTX DR8 Lastly the ESC is wired with a low-voltage output for the front/rear LED light bars, female servo plug connectors are leashed to the rear of the chassis. These plug into the male connectors on the body with enough slack on the loom to comfortably refit it to the body without disconnecting them. These wires are ‘live’ with the ESC, thus the lights only fire up when the car is powered up.

Yep, without the radio gear? It came with the transmitter but it was a Futaba T3PV and he included 2 6s batteries

The wires in my case have been totally removed, so do i need to open up the esc to fit the wires? And the 3 wire led lights be ok? As the factory ones are 2 wires

I'm thinking of upgrading the lights, I've noticed the factory lights are 2 wired the ones I've seen are 3 wired, will this be ok? I can't see where the wires connect to onto the ESC, any ideas?

Purchased a hardly used ftx dr8 but without the front and rear lights Could anyone kindly provide the exact dimensions of the lights? or whether any other led lights would be suitable?

Great thanks, so I'll charge both 1000 and 1600mah at 1 amps What's the difference between 1c and 1amp? I'll be purchasing ba couple of 2000mah lipos what would you recommend i balance charge these to?

I've purchased a genuine imax b6 mini v2 charger The lipo batteries i have are 2S 7.4v 1000mah and 1600mah For charging do i set it to balance charging and set it to 1.0 and 1.6 amps respectively? Or do i set to half 0.5 and 0.8 amps?

Which charger would you recommend? I've seen alot of the imax b6 clones, are these safe?

New to the hobby and looking for advice, I've purchased two rc's. HBX 16889A Pro and the HBX 901A The 16889A comes with 3 1000mah lipo batteries and the 901A comes with one 1600mah lipo battery Wanted to know if the usb chargers they come with are safe? And how long it'll take to charge? How should they be stored when not in use? Thanks

Great advice, appreciated! I'll do the above to the front and rear diffs, other than the diffs is there anything that needs to be greased? Any other tips/advice? How often should i check/grease the diffs? The shock oil I'll see how it behaves before i consider buying any oil

Hi all New to the hobby, purchased two basher RC's awaiting delivery, can't wait! I've ordered the HBX 16889A Pro and the HBX 901A. Regarding the greasing of the diffs, i have automative copper grease and cv lith-moly grease in my possession will either of these be ok to use to pack the diffs? Also the packing of the diffs should i pack both diffs fully? I read somewhere the front should be fully packed and the rear partially? Before using the above mentioned grease should i remove the original grease first? The shocks are oil, do i use different oil weight for the front and rear? Or one size? Which oil weight should i go for?
