I read on the Traxxas forum that an easy way to find airleaks is, start the engine, and spray with WD-40 around neck of carb, backplate and front bearing. When the engine stalls you have found your leak.
Does anyone know if this is true.. or worth trying.
I have tried the other method of taking airfilter off and blowing down fuel line, but found it difficult to keep the thottle open, cover airfilter hole, blow down fuel line whilst brushing soapy water over the engine and looking for when it bubbles.
Has anyone got any input on this.
Cheers lads
