BTCC Fan

ok i have had my rush nearly 3 months now and it is great. however i want a little bit more top end and i also like the idea of wheelies on command but not the sort where when ever you give it any power it flips. i was just wondering what gearing i should buy as i am upgrading the spur gear and clutchbell to steal ones as they are stronger and dont strip! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5984356715&rd=1 i can get a 47, 49 52 or 53t spur and clutch bell i can get 14, 15, 16,17 or 18t. what is the best combination as i dont know much about gearing. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5984895675&rd=1

funny this topic comes up! just as i was thinking of getting one. what would you people advise. i only want abasic one! i found them on ebay for about £130 but they may be rubbish? the blata 1's are about £400. are they really worth it?

Guess what i did it agian. lol! i did the phatest jump ever to day - jumped it over a 5 meter gap jump and it took some huge knocks. however, lol i stripped 4 tooth of my spur gear. I have chatted through with some guys i were bashing with and have decided to superglue or thredlock the engine mounting screws in (so they stop damn working there way loose and causing my spur to strip) and to buy a steal spur gear to stop it stripping!

nice one! - that was an early start - im just started my theory. cant start learning for another month and a half. You going to get a car!

whats wrong with the t maxx and why is the 25 better than the 35? i thought the 35 is the latest model out?

Want to know what you would choose from the above and the criteria i am looking at! anyone got a second hand one of these then pm me! having looked and seen a t maxx running it is a good truck but is it getting on a bit? the bottom of the truck doesnt look particularly strong either? the top speed i was quite impressed with but the new savage 35 looks a quality truck! 25 rtr has already proven it is a good truck and is cheaper than the 35. From looking round i found out the t maxx is the cheapest but is it any good? VOTE NOW!

how fast is the 3.5? it must be quicker than the 25 rtr as its a year newer! so if the 4.6 does 45mh it must do 40mph?

what is the 3.5 like? is it better than the 25 rtr? its still 299 on modelsport!

if it is the rustler then that is a real bargin - good luck to getting it sorted - im sure it will give you many hours of fun before something bigger and faster catches your eye!

12346 wise words - i had a look around but the car wasnt in good nick! It had quite a lot of damage to it! The guy said he reckoned it would need £50 to get it up and running which i think was a fair estimate. Basically i was going to need a new shell two new a arms new engine cooling head - his was all chipped (not a good sign) two new rims - had big cracks!

ok in my local paper there is an add to buy a t maxx for £150 - it the most recent 2.5 version. everything included rotostart radio gear etc. is it worth it or should i keep saving for that savage /lst? i need to make a quick decision because i phoned him up and his already got 2 people going to take a look this afternoon!

haha - i was thinking of the lst i but i will get the savage instead to **** you off. Besides the lst is more money so you would expect more stuff for your money!
