  2. Just finished stripping a s50 I bought on eBay, thing was in a sad state and only bought it for the ball joint shafts but only 2 usable from it, on the plus side I now have a proper s50 gear box ready to go in my converted s28 when the gears finally give up 🙂 and a spare .50 motor, diffs and suspension arms the rest will go into storage as I highly doubt I'm gona bend a chassis or damage suspension holders as thes are pretty tough 🙂

Had this kit made up for me buy a very reputable seller on eBay, guys fantastic and this price is very fair for a full set of bearings, this is a kit he's made up using the owners manual as he never heard of this truck before I asked him to make the kit so if any bearings don't fit or missing please let him know and he will do his best to rectify the issues. I'm first to buy this kit and have said I will let him know if there's any that dont fit or missing as he sells complete kits for most RCS or in this case has gone and made up this kit for me,  IV used his bearings in a ftx carnage and to be fair they take a beating before needing to be replaced, also if u have any kits u need made up jus send him a msg an he will do his best to either make a kit for u. Cheers for looking and hope this helps some of u guys out looking for bearings

I thought anything over 4000kv is only 2s?

That is correct, didn realise when I ordered the combo that it's only meant for 2s, usually lasts about 10 mins before thermal cut out kicks in but ATM with the added fan and smaller wheels its doin good, think it helps alot puttin the 20t pinion on aswel but it's crazy fast now, flat out it's easily hittin 50mph will be strappin my phone to it tomoz an doin some speed runs

    Hi! It's a Hobbywing Max10 SCT (120A) combo with a 3660 4000kv motor

Ah okies bud, IV ordered the hobbywing max10 ezrun with the 5400kv motor not realising its only a 2s motor lol will run my standard etronix motor until I either get some 2s battery's or a 4000kv motor so I can run my 3s battery's

Hi guys! well it's been quite a while... last summer i gave up on carnage, as it was constantly breaking the diffs... Then about two weeks ago i took it off the shelf and decide to give it another try, rebuilded the diffs and for now it seems to hold on well, ran around 6 packs on it...

I think i found the problem and i am angry on myself, that i did'nt notice that before 🙄

Too much suspension travel... i remember exeprimenting with the shock mounting position, which i now noticed caused that much suspension travel, that when suspension was in it's end position, the rear dogbones and front cvd's were pushing on the diff cups... This could effectivelly messed the gear mesh on every jump and bump. Well this is my theory, will see how it will behave now...

I also finally mounted the hardened steel spur, no more plastic gears

Oh and the carnage got two new sets of tyres:

Here it is, all dirty with the new street tyres to be tested...

Hi bud what motor/esc combo is that?

I have a max10 combo and it has a 5mm bore, pretty sure all the 3660 motors come with 5mm bore tbh

I thought it had a 5mm bore but havnt got one so wasn't sure if they made both sizes lol il jus stick to the crappy etronix for now and will look at doin the max10 upgrade when this motor eventually burns out 🤠

If all you’re looking for is more top end speed, maybe try a larger pinion before splashing out on another motor and esc. Just keep an eye on the temps; this could be controlled with a metal heat sink and fan combo if you aren’t already using one.

IV looked into different pinions, brother in law gave me a few but didn't really make much difference

    I have a 5mm and a 3.2mm shaft depending on which motor.

But the Max10s are 3.2 and my larger etronix is 5mm.

RW Racing does have the 0.6mod 5mm bore but out of stock at the min.

Give them a call and see when they will be getting/making more.

    U sure the max10s are a 3.2?

Could you not just get a new rw pinion to fit a 5mm shaft? If you are spending out on a new esc combo then tis just another small thing to get

I could but wanted to use these parts with a beefier motor lol, been lookin at the 60a etronix set up but not sure if its gona make that much difference

What do you mean, the etronix is 3.2mm shaft, the motor isnt really suitable for 4s mine shed its magnets when i tried it.

Or are you saying you want to run pinions on the spur gear, if so your kinda out of luck as the spur shaft isnt the right size, you can make your own and run it tho.

or do you want to upgrade your extronix brushless combo, if so cant go wrong with hobbywing max10sct but the motors are 5mm bore usually.

Basically want to run the rw racing pinion I'm usin on my etronix motor now on a better motor preferably on a 4s compatible motor an esc combo, looked at the max10  but my pinion gear won't fit

  11. Hi does anyone know if the zeee 3s 5200 mah 80c battery's are any good for the carnage? Already got a abisma 3s 4000mah  50c and it's crazy fast but want a bit more punch and a bit longer run times.. it's pretty much fully upgraded with carbon and ally and have the rw racing spur and pinion, and used to blowing diff up so bought a load of spare gears and housings for that lol jus Wana know if the zeee battery's are worth it or jus get another abisma
