  1. Been looking for a 1./5th Baja and on my EBay quest I have noticed a few used Rovan HPI clones going for new prices or even more??? Do people not check the new prices???
  2. Sounds fun. I suppose 1/5 should be easier to work with due to the size and component sizes eg tiny screws on a 1/10th (or even 1/18th like on my Mamba brushless Rc18T) vs size of screws on a 1/5
  3. Yea and The thing with starting brand new is at least you know how it's been looked after...
  4. Here's some images. What do you think? Looks like a screw or 2 is missing and a clip. Rear wheel looks bent / buckled? And is that part next to the petrol tank cap bent?
  5. Thanks for the reply. It looks like it needs a good clean and has some rusty screws but guessing rusty screws will be normal once it gets used.. It's a Baja SS Would mainly just be used to mess around in the garden with, no serious racing. I keep thinking maybe get 1/8th brushless but I like how you just add fuel and go...
  6. Would you buy a Used HPI Baja for £300 area or go for a New Rovan for £400?? Thanks
  7. Still looking for a used 1/5 and noticed a few FG Marder buggies during my quest. What would you go for? FG Marder or a KM / Rovan? Which is more reliable / Robust? Which is easier to get parts for? Which would be cheaper to repair after a breakage? (Eg is a Diff half the cost with the KM vs a FG?) Thanks
  8. Lost a drive shaft on my brushless minizilla, just wonder if anyone has any for sale? Thanks
  9. Good news, the buyer cancelled the sale. Will change my eBay password lol So you say a KingMotor Baja would be best to go with for a budget?. What about a Rovan buggy? Thanks
  10. Damn should have signed out of eBay... Maybe an easier option would be converting it to Brushless?...
  11. Thanks, my son bidded and won it while I was at work without asking... he got it for £67 + postage and thought it would be easy enough for me to just fit a engine and away it would go...
  12. Hi, can anyone please ID this 1/5th scale buggy? Thanks
