  1. Thanks for the reply, Was looking online and youtube vids, does look normal. So frustrating 😫 But I'm sure I'll get use to it.
  2. Calling all you amazing and knowledgeable people. Just got a carisma gt24s subaru edition. Great little car, but my god is the forward to reverse lag bad. Feels almost un driveable in comparison to some bigger cars I own. Does anyone know if this is normal or something I need to fix. Can find much if at all anything online about it. Thanks all
  3. Turns out you was right, after testing batteries seems like I was using bad ones. After a good long charge the servos seem OK now. Thanks for the help.
  4. I hadn't used a lipo, was using a hump back I have for the car. Also tried a different one with no joy. I've tested the servos both using the transmitter and a servo tester I have. Same thing happens. When powered up works very briefly then starts going crazy. As you can see in the video. Starting to think this second hand car I got is Cursed 😥
  5. Yea battery in car seemed fine, also use a 2nd battery pack to make sure.
  6. So just brought 2 new servos for my hobao hyper, after setting them up think I've killed them. Think they may have been overkill for the job at hand. Was playing around with the end points and they just stopped working correctly, maybe I've cooked them? Was working fine for about 15mins trying to get everything back together. The video is of me testing them.
  7. For starters many thanks for the help everyone. I dont have a temp gun but will now be on my list of things to get. 1st engine that went the piston broke and locked up. Made an absolute mess inside the engine. On that one it ran for a while fine. I did have a feeling it could have been due to being to lean. 2nd one I thought try to be a little more reserved on tuning it. But nevertheless that went also after a day or so of braking it in. As I wanted to be a little more gentle with it. That seized up and chipped the Piston Head. I'm not what a pro with nitro by any means. I've got a hpi savage ss 4.6 that runs like a dream and has good speed. Had that from kit new many years ago. So thought I would be alright, news flash I wasnt 😅🤣
  8. Many thanks for the help, the mac 28 engine ran fine for months then blew up 😅. Brought a 2nd hand replacement then that blew up also 😬. Never had so many issues with a nitro engine. Seemed to run perfect then it didnt lol. Do u have any recommendations on if I should buy another 2nd hand engine or just buy a new one. Dont want to sink to much into it as it's a bit of a basher.
  9. Calling all you amazing people out there, about a year ago I brought a hobao hyper.... 2nd hand. I have no idea what one it is, I've had a look online but wasnt conclusive for me. Hopefully one of you lovely people will know what it is. Ps. I have blown up 2 engines on it and installed the air filter as it was knackered when I bought it 🙄😬
