Finally finished the Tamiya 1/10th TT01E chassis with a WRC Subaru shell.
I built the chassis last year, painted it in the summer (the vents and back windows are actually heavy spray tint you can see through just about) and today whilst dying I finally stickered it all up.
Fully functional RC but not likely to be used in anger - I have battered ones for that! (Besides the shell is far too low for the wheels to turn). Don’t look too close at the stickers, like I said I’m dying today!-

Been out today, even though I’m a bit old for conkers! I did forget how glacial this is though - so slooooow…. 3s next time out. I even avoided all the swamps today too!

Found this quite intriguing, especially for some of the new Tamiya releases a few minutes in. FMS have quite a photocopier TRX4 going on too! Contains no shouting or “HI GUYS” 🤣

Had a peek at the shell I painted when the sun was still out earlier in the week. Smoked the vents on the bonnet rather than a sticker as an experiment.

Not noticeably so? You could try breaking the motor in by running in a glass of water though, it would let you know if the motor was sticking too.
Can you try the motor mount mount in a different position?

Traxxas. When it breaks you can get the parts in a few days.

Thoughts? Channels where passion is followed survive, those where they chase the algorithm tend to turn to **** (Sorry RC Kicks). If Kev’s happy his content will be enjoyable, if he’s going through the motions it will look like it.
Sideways off topic, I really enjoyed this bash video (from a non-bash youtuber SBG Matt), same bash perspective but filmed like a Top Gear special.

Guess what I’ve just done! Silver then gunmetal over the top. Peel off the masking tomorrow, I intend to tint the windows and cut the black bits out the all over one piece glass decals…. I might change my mind yet!-

Quick question, did you prime before the rattlecan? You could also go for a second body?
