  1. decided to sell the YZ2 now... have listed it in the for sale section
  2. Hi all, having brought a almost new YZ4 SF2 and had a chance to try it i've decided to focus on it and move away from the YZ2 two wheel drive, just don't have the time to run two cars. Its a CA although as you can see from the pictures its got a bunch of hopup upgrades, the chassis aside its almost a CAL3 model Adding two sets of wheel/tyres all of which are good one set are new A range of front and rear springs new rear wish bones and one front. used 80t spur The slipper pads are new and the 80t spur Big bore shocks which have new seals and oil, plus upgraded metal caps the shell is in excellent con, nicely spayed Comes with the box manual and few setup sheets. £170 for collection Can post at £10

    Has anyone?

Hi all Looking for the electric's i need to get the YZ4 sf2 running... scanning thought usual uk RC web shops i came across Euro RC.com they based as you can probably guess over the water in Helsinki, the site looks good and tbh the prices are very good.. for example checked the Muchmore Fleta ZX V2 6.5T Brushless Motor MR-V2ZX065 price at £66.46 vs a well known uk RC web shop at £89.99 ... even using the DHL 1-3 day postage isn't much more than the uk site charges. just wondered if anyone had used them before? any issues? thanks

  7. Thanks matey... defo caught the bug picking up a YZ4 SF2 at the weekend 🙂
  8. Hi all, If you've not seen my first post in the welcome section.. I brought a used Yokomo YZ2 rolling chassis, after a steep learning curve its now fully running, so for the past few Sat i've been testing diff setups down my local track EPR and meeting a very friendly bunch and always happy to advise. Anyway last sat my car was rubbed 🙂 and strangely one of the shock caps popped off.. closer look and saw that all the big bore shocks were leaking... luckily i was able to meet Sam who is a Yokomo expert as his son was racing at EPR... seems the last owner fitted odd fitting caps also discovered a damaged bulk head panel.. Sam was able to supply the parts, so this week i stripped the car down only to find the horror that caused the damage... last owner clearly had a heavy crash and when i measured the front of the chassis was bent up and twisted giving a 5mm diff between front and wish bones.. Annoyance started setting in thinking thats £80/100 for a new chassis. After calming down with a coffee no scrap that 2 beers 🙂 and someone that is a tinker i kinda made a jig and gently bent and twisted to the point best stop.. put the car back together managed to get the diff down to 0.5mm. Happy with that, hopefully its not affected the metal strength or its a new chassis No idea what the last owner was thinking least this YZ2 has a good home now.
  9. i can get that font no problem... easy sticker to make.. you after some?
  10. Well thats defo an opinion :-)... need to sharpen the lines and color... may even try a diff color... Painted the wheels only cos well tbh just like to be different and one thing i've noticed is to the unknowing eye on the track most cars look similar... most don't bother painting the wheels. Have green sets too.
  11. Hi all,, in between messing about with setups for my Yokomo YZ2 every time i looked at the nicely painted shell i thought how boring the standard Yokomo Sticker looked... so i fired up my graphics PC with SignLab and Colour vinyl plotter to make something new. Always nice to get honest opinions of course some may like some may not... the original is below the one i made.
  12. Thanks... yeah got Neil's details actually mailed him to see if he can make a CNC spur gear... he's got back to me asking for pictures so i've sent some , hopefully he can help
