E30019 Turn Axle for Crank Off Pull Starter E30017 Turn Tube for Crank Off Pull Starter thanks for the info but the above parts are what is in my hyper 7 if it was an option to replace the parts you mention that would be great but if the rotor start will fit i cant understand why they all say NOT for COPS i have seen a video by the RcBiker and he replaces the cops system with a fastrax rotor start yes rotor start would be great but anything to get rid of the cops pull start thanks for you info and will look into replacing some parts to get regular pull start or rotor start fitted cheers Mick

the nut on the cops is much smaller than the regular one so not able just to change this, i have emailed Hobao and Modlesport but no reply, which i never waisted my money on this junk and spent the extra on a Kyosho so maybe it will be up for sale very soon

has anyone found a solution to replace the cops pull start to a rotor system, i have searched for hours and cant find a system to get rid of the rubbish pull start, us a starter box for now but not ideal when away from the house or car cheers Mick

2s works just fine but when i use 3s i cant get to reverse , forward and brake only so as mentioned above i bit the bullet and got the 120a hobbywing esc which is 4s capable and omg is it fast on 3s with this esc, it spins like nothing and way way too fast for my son now lol but he has his ftx carnage with brushless conversion lol

just a note for anyone looking to set the carb to default i did adjust the middle screw which does say do not touch (i Did Touch lol) set set this default which took me ages to find the answer. 1st remove the hight speed needle using the brass nut at the bottom once this has been removed you can see the middle speed brass barrel 2nd set this flush with the outer of the carb body but you will see a hole when you turn this have this facing the high speed needle after setting this 10mins later my hyper was running fine after a fine tune hsn - 4 turns lsn - 3 turns i found this a good starting point forget when the manual says as it is way off for me hope this is helpfully to some and sorry if this has been posted before the above worked for me and hopefully works for others

spent far too much this month on a Nitro and bits n bobs so new esc out of the question lol

new tx and receiver all binded fine it seems like esc issue and its programming

thanks for reply. steering is just fine, when i have been into esc calibration i get both steering and sometime both forward and reverse and just forward other times but its a real pain using the reset button

hi all, does anyone know of a programming card that works with the desert wolf, my receiver gave up the ghost so i bought the Flysky Gt3c and when i use the beeps and flashing lights with the reset button i get it to work and after power recycle i dont get any drive, the steering is fine so i know that i am binded with transmitter, i have done the 8 channel hack on the Flysky but this has no effect as this was the same beforehand any help would be great thanks

love the looks and specs but on day 2 of breaking in the engine COPS pull start broke internally. cord fine. i did loosen the glow plug to ease the compression, spoke with wheelspin and they sent me a replacement out next day so cant complain about there fantastic service, i have since 3d printed a new handle for the pull start as the green thing is horrible and so uncomfortable. but hey its all part of the fun. will be ordering a starter box for home use just one question if using a starter box with the hyper 7 can you leave the pull start in tact or deos it have to be removed thanks for all you help and tips on deciding this truggy cheers Mick

sorry should have stated Nitro, wheelspin models advised me to get the Hyper SS because its the newest of the lot but i think its the cops pull start that is my problem as i have heard that is is not very good and something to remember to take with you
