Hi all,
So I bought a second hand Hyper 7 as a first buggy for my son and I to race at our local club. Turns out the engine is toast! It was very cheep so I didn't expect much as I really just wanted a rolling chassis anyway.
I have got the buggy all setup so now I'm in the market for a power plant for it. My thoughts are that I should look to buy a decent race engine that I can later transplant into another buggy when we upgrade in the future.
I'm not looking to brake the back here, say around £200ish? Ideally something that has a pull start, but I can maybe removed later and replaced with a blanking plate later when we have a starter box.
Or maybe the best way to go is fairly cheep for now and just keep the Hyper 7 and whatever engine we get for bashing or a spare track car?
Any engine suggestion's are very welcome , I just want something reliable and easy to tune.
Thanks,
Joe
