Hi all. Having issues with my Kyosho Fazer ( shorturl.at/huzS9 ). It seems as if there is no fuel reaching the motor, unless I blow down the pressure pipe. So far, I've had the exhaust off, the exhaust manifold off and the header off, sealed everything with gasket maker. When I am blowing down the pressure pipe (pipe from exhaust to fuel tank) the car runs without issue. The minute I put the pipe back on to the exhaust, there is no more fuel. Could it be a jetting issue? Or is it something else that might be the issue?

Ag100, I've just taken a closer look at mine... completely empty. Seems they've leaked out on the workshop desk, really disappointing. I'm sorry I pointed you in that direction!

That is what I thought... its a bit of a pity, because I did like the little bit of extra speed. Although, I do like the extra torque now!

And now for a silly question - why have I lost speed? Running the 280 motor, I had more speed than with the new 370. Any thoughts?

Just a follow up on my project....and a little bit of surgery under way to find somewhere for the RX!!

They fitted straight on. I put the stock original springs on the front and then the springs that came with the shocks on the rear. Using 300ct oil all round. Definitely a lot less bounce.

Thats is EXACTLY what I've been up to today!! New suspension, lighting... Motor, bumper, differential arriving on Monday. I can see this becoming a very expensive hobby, and hours of good fun. Everyone who has decried the MN90/99/S, these are actually great little cars for a beginner like myself...lots to learn from, and space to improve.

If that's the case, why do they say 7-10 business days? That would lose a lot of money and non returning customers if that wasn't honoured?

Hi all. I've ordered a few things from Banggood - 4 orders in total - how long do they normally take? 3 of the orders are local, and have Royal Mail 48hr tracked numbers, the other is from Germany. So far, only the German one is showing as having been actually posted - there is movement on the order. All other show as having been "Package has been sterilized and shipped out." Going on the Royal Mail tracking numbers, Royal mail haven't seen the packages yet! So how long do they normally take to actually ship out?

After chatting to Ag100, I came to the conclusion that I DO actually want my lights to work on my MN99S. I've replaced the esc/rx with separate esc and rx. The problem with the lights is that the original LED wires go to a 5 pin connector. How would I go about connecting them to the RX. I've attached a photo (thanks Ag100) to show where the lights connect to on the original esc/rx. Obviously where it says LED2 - https://imgur.com/a/aOfdjIs Going by what I can see on Banggood, (second photo) it seems I can connect all the LED's to one connector and then plug that in to channel 3/4 on the RX?

Are your LED's front and rear or just front? Are the lights the only difference between the 99 and the 99S? I know that the 99S has metal diff gears, definitely not the central gears though.

Problem with the current lights, they're on a 5 wire plug, whereas, obviously, the rx can only take 3 wire connectors. Might be a question of just running the front lights or front/rear lights and not the indicators. (Irritating that they are!) Ag100, that looks like the same ESC I fitted to mine yesterday. It works really well, I'm using a Kyosho KT200 TX/RX, How have you fitted the lights to work again?

Right, so esc in place, all wired up... problem is the brake is in the wrong place! Usually the brake came on from going forward to reverse. Now its the other way around. Also, the reverse button on the controller (to reverse the inputs ie trigger pull direction) doesnt work... Any clues what might be happening? Let me answer my own question - the polarity on the motor was reversed - swapped the black and red wire around leading from the esc to motor, and now runs 100% as it should. It's amazing what the upgraded esc and a different TX does to the handling of the little beast. Totally different machine now! To anyone who has started out with an MN99S, consider swapping esc and TX/RX!

Right, so just to be sure I have this right. My MN99 has BEC and ESC (and RX) on the same board. To be able to use my TX/RX combo, I'd need to either get an esc, separate bec (or a bec/esc combo), plug in my RX and good to go? Reason I'm asking is because I want to uprate to a 20Amp esc. Either that, or use a seperate battery for the RX? That, and also my other controllers have a lot more options than the stock controller.

Its the KT-200 Syncro TX and RX. Doubt its a computer radio considering its about 10 years old? I also have a GoolRC Flysky FS-GT2E 2ch. Possibility there?

Thanks for the replies... Now another question - I have a TX and RX from my nitro cars. If I was to buy a new ESC, would I be able to use the receiver and transmitter from the nitro? Just trying to figure out if I can get away with not having to buy a complete set of everything again...

Thanks for all the replies Ag100. My Mn99S arrived yesterday, had it stripped down and greased up the diffs etc. One thing that bothers me is that when I turn left full lock, that it "sucks" the suspension up. Cant think of any other way to put it. When I first started looking at it all, I noticed the screw holding the link rod from the servo to the axle was only half screwed in. Tightened that up, and then noticed the odd action. Is it possible tightening that screw up did "odd" things?

Hi all. I'm quite a newbie with electric RC. I'm assuming if I buy a new ESC, I need the same brand of transmitter to go with the ESC? I've recently got an MN99S ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/TwoCC-Remote-Control-Car-Mn99S/dp/B07YKDB3P2 ) and I'd like to upgrade various bits. (Didn't pay the Amazon price!) If you have any thoughts on this, please feel free to share!

Wondering if I read the wrong info somewhere then. Watched a youtube vid of a gent upgrading his 99, and it included a new ESC and changing out the motor for a more powerful one, with a metal pinion... Did I get this wrong somewhere? Edit: I think I did:
