  1. Have a look on ebay. Some good prices and loads of hop ups for the Durga. As with anything you pay for what you get, and the Durga is a very good buggie.
  2. Check that the king pin bolts and bushes are in place. There should be one on top and one underneath the hub. It's best to take the wheel off to get good access. The bolts screw in to the silver/metal swivel hub. Compare it to the other side if your not sure.
  3. To be honest I would leave it until you do the upgrade. I'm currently running my Durga with a 19 turn motor and LRP speed controler with no slipper clutch (altough it's on the list!!) and I'm having no probs at all and I havn't been taking it easy. BTW good choice of Buggy
  4. Thanks for info guys 3 Racing for me I think!!
  5. Mmmm any one else!! got 50/50 at the mo. My other option is to double the price and get the Tamiya TRF 501x Dampers?
  6. Hi Has anyone used these dampers on a Tamiya Durga or any other model come to that and if so are they any good??click Thanks
  7. Would recommend a Durga big time, got one in January and put a 19t motor in and 3600 battery pack. It goes and handles very well, I only use it for bashing but I'm well pleased. Would like to see one go with brushless!!! I would say it's in a different class to the Dark Impact. Ive had no real probs with it other than overheating motor(melted solder on motor!!) but Tamiya give you the option to cut vents in the shell that dont look out of place, sorted it out. You can also get great hop ups on ebay for peanuts. hope this helps.
  8. Nice one ta. Are you running the standard motor? if not which one and what esc are you using. Went to order a Durga at modelsport and there sold out!! Bugger.
  9. Hi all simple question. Can any one give me any feed back on a Tamiya Durga? Thinking of getting one just to bash in the garden nothing serious. Ta HyperRIB
  10. Thanks guys. Have filled them to the top and will leave them over night, will proberbly find oil all over the floor tomorrow morning
  11. Advice please What level is best to fill the diff casing when changing the oil? I have been told to fill um right up and also been told that you fill them up to the cross pins only. Also is 30k weight oil a bit too thick for a center diff? Ta Rob
  12. Dont think I can justify another buggie just yet (wife wont be happy££££) Did electric cars when I was a kid, thats wot got me in to nitro's now. Just cant be arsed going to local ind est to run it all the time.
  13. Any one tell me if you can get a silencer that is not quite so noisey as a standard pipe? I would like to run the car closer to home with out annoying the neighbours. I realise engine performance would be down but not to worried for a bit of fun.
