Hi, thanks for stopping by. Very new to this site, but have often been using the info others have posted on here to help me out so decides to join and help others where ever I can.

+40yr old with a huge love of rc. Still own my original Tyco Turbo Jet Hopper that I got the first time around  in the early 80s, though it doesn’t work anynmore. Could never afford 'hobby grade' rc in the 70s and 80s so as I got older grew out of the hobby. Fast forward to 3 years ago and I saw a Baja race on YouTube..then discovered a truck called a 'pre-runner' and short coruse truck racing...up pops a video of someone running an rc version (turns out it was the Traxxas Slash)... then and there my love affair with RC re-started.

Boy has this hobby changed!! Never knew what a lipo was let alone what was so special about. 3yrs later, I'm learning about the different sub groups eg crawling, drift rc, bashers etc...and got my very forst petrol rc - the Losi 5t. Majority of my cars are second hand but so far none have caused me any major issues and I'm never lacking in parts thanks to the internet. I'm not a fountain of information but can help in my small capacity. 

Just started racing at Club level - Tamiya class (TT01 / tamiya torque tuned motor)...looking forward to seeing how I get on .
