Thanks for the information david. It's amazing how the Gen 8 has become unavailable in the Uk. That seems the only place you can get the rtr.

Oh most definitely I'm more addicted now than I ever was. I still do not have lots of rc due to finances but slowly getting what I want. Although the other half isn't to pleased with things keep turning up lol. You can certainly buy a lot more for your money than years ago..

Yeah that is what I thought, i can understand the gen 7 but didnt think the gen 8 would be discontinued as you said I didn't think it had been out too long. Maybe a gen 9 is on the way but even still seems bit soon to discontinue gen 8. Yeah definitely trx4

I messaged one of the model shops and they said the gen 7 and gen8 have been discontinued

Yeah exactly been watching loads of videos on crawlers and the trx4 sport seems to perform brilliant for the money. And as you said parts and upgrades thanks

Awesome thanks for your replies. Yeah maybe I just thought it was strange as it's not even on there websites saying out of stock etc. Its as though it's been completely removed. And all they have is the kit or the axe edition.. I'm not sure as I'm new to all this but just heard good things about the trx4 and liked the gen 8

Hi all hope your all keeping safe in these strange times. I want to get into crawlers and brought a axial scx24 jeep which I love but want to buy a bigger rig when i can afford it. I like the trx 4 sport and really like the look of the Redcat gen8. Just wondering why are the gen 7 and gen8 so hard to find in the uk. There were a few online shops in the uk that used to stock them but for some reason no longer list them apart from the axe edition which is awesome but so pricey compared to America and they have the kit. Some list the gen7 pro as discontinued. Any thoughts would be awesome
