  1. That’s a great set! Bricklink will definitely give you the best/most realistic guide prices - particularly when you look at sales in the past 6 months, as opposed to the current ‘for sale’ prices.
Same for eBay too, when searching for ‘sold /completed items’.

  2. @Grogg awesome!
    whadaya have?  I’m just being 👃🏼 !

eBay tends to be a good place to sell, but for expensive sets i’d only get involved when they have the lower selling fee offers. I’ve seen some very limited edition (employee-only) sets going for serious money, so plenty of collector-type buyers.

Bricklink is my go-to for guide prices.

Selling wise, I would think it’d be pretty good too, but not sure how much their fees are.

Not sure if this will help but obviously once the set retires it will jump up, I think you’re looking at end of this year for the Ducati and end of 2024 for the BMW.

Personally (thinking in percentage terms then absolute numbers) the even if the Ducati jumps up by 50pc, you’re only looking at a £30 return over the RRP. Is that worthwhile versus the challenge of keeping space for storage?

For the BMW it might make more sense, but it’s a big box…plus the extra wait for it to retire…

Check out www.brickeconomy.com too - they have an estimated trajectory of the price increases for all sets, that might help make your mind up!

Did you still have all the parts

Sadly not - I’ve lost most of the pieces over time. 😞

When looking through, I remembered that I had two sets -  the base station and the ship.

Maybe I’ll put it up on eBay - someone might want these bits as spares lol.

As above really? My Dad has gave my girlfriend and I a voucher for Argos to buy stuff for our home, amd we’re tempted by an air fryer. Currently looking at this:

We eat lots of chicken, and chips. So healthier options would be better, as now Im the wrong side of 30, them calories hit harder 😩

Sorry I should have checked the link before posting! I have this one. I like the size of the compartments - you can get plenty of food in both. Having two cooking zones is really handy (cooking chips in one and chicken in the other).

Shout if you need to know anything else about this particular model!

  6. I love mine (now). I have the two-compartment Ninja.
Full disclosure, we used it once at the beginning (didn’t like it) and then it sat on the counter top for about 6 months without use while we carried on frying, BUT we went back to it randomly and now use it for everything that needs frying or baking (if it fits).

It is different, but you get used to it. Mine also has a ‘reheat’, ‘bake’ and other cooking functions beyond air fry so it’s pretty cool.
It does take up a lot of space though!
