  1. Sweet thanks. Do you know any more information about the Rampage? Is it any good? How old is it likely to be? Cheers
  2. I've acquired two old school nitro cars but without any further information about them. Obviously the first step is to identify the make and model - can anybody tell me what they are? Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks for the info about the radio gear. Digital didn't even exist when I was racing these cars as a kid! The motor in this car is a Reedy Neo1 which is sensored. Will the following ESC work with this? Hobbyking® X-Car 120A Brushless Car ESC (sensored/sensorless) https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingr-x-car-120a-brushless-car-esc-sensored-sensorless.html?wrh_pdp=7 And what's with Hobbyking vs Hobbywing ? Is this just a coincidence?
  4. Sorry this has me confused - please could you clarify? Digital/analogue what? Thanks
  5. It's a brushless motor so is there a recommended Hobbywing ESC for brushless? Are there compatibility issues to worry about? Thanks
  6. It's in an RC10 B4. Am I likely to have fried the receiver and servo as well when I connected the battery with reverse polarity?
  7. Hello. This is my first post on the forum. I'm back into RC cars after a 30 year hiatus!! I've acquired a bunch of old cars and kit and am starting to get each one up and running one by one as a lockdown project. Today I mistakenly connected a LiPo battery backwards, and an pretty sure I've fried the ESC on one of the cars. Can anybody identify the ESC in the photo, and suggest a suitable compatible low cost replacement? Thanks
