Hi I know this is an old post but I caMe across it during lockdown and was hoping someone could help me out.
I gave up the hobby a while ago but found my HPI E- firestorm in my cupboard and thought I’d like to get it going again.
So I bought a new brushless system for it (GoolRC 3900kv motor and 60a ESC)
Anyways I’ve fitted everything right, then I go to set up the electrics and my Acoms Technisport 2.4ghz transmitter and receiver can’t seem to connect to eachother. Now I’ve been out the hobby a while and I don’t really know what going on. I’ve tried a lot of things.
I tried uploading a video but this forum won’t allow.
so the transmitter LED stays a constant red
however the receiver led is a constant flashing red.
I have no idea what this means/ what I should do.
is the receiver dead and I need to order a whole new tranmistter and receiver set?
Anyone’s help will be greatly appreciated, I just want to get bashing again.
