1. Finally, after years behind, before even releasing Cross-RC, I wanted it since I tried Spintires in 2009, I wanted something like this and I was finally able to buy it As you can imagine, I will post photos and more of the assembly, I want to do an unboxing, and if I can I will record the assembly process, at least the mechanics. I took photos of all the bags, but I won't post them, I don't think they are very interesting hahahaha. I have seen much better ordered kits, to be honest, although I have also seen worse ones, we will see how things go with the assembly for now... The wheels, as I already read in the forum , are difficult to heel, very very tight, and there is plenty of foam, so first, cut the foam a little: And a little more than two hours later, I managed to assemble 4 of the 8 wheels, hard work, first with long screws almost to the stop and by wetting my lips very well to get the beads on, without wetting, impossible, but hey, here's the fun hehehehe: Honestly, the assembly is what I like the most, but the truth is that it is very easy to make the wheels bead easier, not because the brands don't do it many times. The 8 wheels are already mounted And yes, the instructions are missing some bearings that do come in the kit, the front ones are the ones in the photos, you realize they are missing, but in the rear ones they are the ones that go behind the crown inside the tip of the axle, Unless I read it in the forum, otherwise I would have to disassemble it again and it would be a tedious task. Today I started with the matter, the extra bumper and the axles and some details, I leave you photos: Here's a ball joint that came half the size hehehe less, which is something we have plenty of And here is today's work Well, so far with the servos and the 1200kv fusion, it's 7.4kg, the thing weighs hehehe, everything is very tight, removing a defect in the chassis that I will show later and readjusting the front leaf springs:
2. Comes with the KIT , shovel & plastic high lift too .
3. Finishing details untill waiting miniservos
4. Space for the ESC, is the main reason, because it would also be necessary to lengthen cables and everything does not fit well below.
5. Not rub , this truck have big wheel fender jejejeje
6. In the end I have transferred the wheels from the jk to this one with the crazycrawler foams, they dress him better
7. This one has changed the wheels for those of the k30, they give it better height and the shades of gray with the chassis combine better
8. It's almost there, there's work left but it's hardly visible hahahaha, so far I haven't taken many photos, but I can give my impressions The chassis looks very good weight distribution, I don't like the "DRIVESHAFT" that joins the box with the transfer, but we'll see if it works, if not the solution is a normal cardan. The plastics look very good to tighten the screws, it is a good rub at the end of assembling everything, I like the plastic, although it seemed bad to me in the ball joints, they are 3mm, the same easy solution if they do not give good results. For the rest I see it very compact and well thought out. A bit absurd at some point, how to release the transfer to pass the front axle locking cable to the back of this servo. I really liked the body in general, once assembled it is compact and very light despite what it seems. The seats can be placed in the front or back with the screws that hold them and have a hole for the belts, or flanges hahaha. I liked everything a lot except for one thing, I don't know who was the "engineer" who had the idea that the hinges and supports be glued to the hood and the car as well as the hood lock slip. It is a solemn trash that this is glued , I had to bring something to screw on the hood and body so that it can be used with ease. For the rest I like it a lot and the battery hole is a hoot. Also, a large lipo fits a 5200 3s, it still leaves a hole. I leave you the photos that I have taken, they are not very good but I have enjoyed so much that I have not stopped to take photos
9. Chassis assembled... the body still remains. Good quality at all times I'm liking it I have taken it with such eagerness, that I have only taken a photo before starting to ride when I have greased an axles .. The tires inside on the flanks, take note Proline and Rc4wd !!! And I put the tires that it comes with on the child's sling, beadlock and heavy, and it also comes with 5!
10. It has a bit of weight between the chassis spars at the rear, at the moment I haven't put anything on it, but I don't think it needs more, it already climbs enough to be a truck, really😉
