  1. So I took the plunge after reading lots about tuning. I found out there are two types of LSN. Short and long needle. Mines the long needle. After reading the link here, I got it running pretty good. http://www.rctech.net/forum/offroad-nitro-engine-forum/590663-long-vs-short-low-speed-needles.html Thanks for everyones advice. Think I'll be having some fun tomorrow.
  2. Thanks. That's very true. I've had a good look at the tuning articles. Really helpful. Just really looking for a starting point. Like anything new. Someone talking you through and showing you always gives me confidence to try myself. I'm going to give it a go. Thanks to everyone for the replies to my post.
  3. Cheers. I'll give them a try. Appreciate that bud.
  4. Hi. I've just got a used Hpi Savage X4.6 , and looking for some help tuning it to run properly. Its easy to start after using a bit of heat from a heat gun. But has rough idle and dies when I give it some trottle. Bit to scared to try tuning myself. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Hi Richard. You still into bashing around the Girvan area.
