  1. I haven't a clue how to calibrate a Volantex ESC. How would I go about doing this. Kind regards.
  2. Just bought the £59 FlySky FS-GT3C pistol transmitter with the FlySky 3ch receiver it comes with. Connected it to my Volantex Atomic SR85 CAT's ESC and servo and when I switch it on, I have to press the trigger forwards to stop the motor. If I let go of the trigger the boats motor screams to full speed. Pressing trigger backwards also makes it go. I have messed around with the servo reverse and can't seem to figure it out. I should be able to let go of trigger and boat stops. What am I doing wrong somebody please I'm pulling my hair out on this one.
  3. No it can be going slow gently and inclose range it will cut out for a second then come back. Don't have to be hammering throttle or giving bursts. Yes I have a zeee 80c 3S 5200mah. Will try that.
  4. Boat is still very new and really have only run it around 4 times it's only just over couple months old. Each run was every second or so week. First time it took a small pool of water in more than my yellow sSR65 (first boat). Boat rarely cut out but it would now and again. Next run it still took in water but it ran ok. I realized after the run the servo rod came out on the factory fitted rudder and at this point I think I noticed the boat would occasionally cut out for a second or two. Boat was veering right. Guys at our local club helped me adjust rudder and servo as no amount of steering trim helped. We solved that issue. Came away and had to ring the shop I bought it from because the servo rod arm that go to the rudder was coming out easily. The shop contacted their distributor and they sent out a replacement rudder which turned out to be a better fit. At was this point we noticed grub screw had not been tightened down but it was in the original rudder. So now we have original rudder as a spare... Before the 3rd run. Tried to find areas that were leaking in water. Sealed the cracks in the 3 pieces mold at back where the carry handle is where was none originally and in the top front middle sides of the hull we put more silicone along there too where there was none from factory. We taped up the screws under the hull with black electrical tape. The 4th run was done today. No water leak in when tape sealed around SR85 canopy. Bone dry. We do a run without tape, pool of water inside boat. The seal and gasget not keeping water tight. Still having the cut out throttle then regain throttle after a second or two. Not sure what the problem is to this point. We were recommended the Volks 4S 4200mah batteries in the cmldistribution video. I bought the boat from rcmodelsdirect. The boat has a 1750KV motor and Volantex 60 A ESC. What I have noticed is that these batteries C rating are 30C. Could this be why the boat is randomly losing power and regaining power through throttle like a second or two later ? The boat has gotten wet inside. I have given it a good dry out and will do again before next run. Also greasing shaft is needed before next run. I have another pistol grip transmitter and receiver coming from Flysky so will need to try setting up this Volantex to those TX RX. Here's hoping the problem is straight forward. I don't have any higher C rated batteries to test. So not sure what to do next.
