Hey all, after some advice. My boy has converted his hyper 7 to electric. He put on hobbywing max 8 motor. It rips but issue is it’s shredding the trues. Can anyone recommend any wheel tyre combos that will take the acceleration. Or is it a case we need to program motor to gradually bring in power?

I am sure you have seen this kind of post before and I have been searching everywhere to try and find something different than the usual troubleshooting as that hasn't fixed the issue I have. My boy got a hyper 7. Its a .21 3Port but it just wont start at all. We have had it in 2 different shops, neither could sort it. The engine just wont fire. It will prime fine and plug and starter fine, tried giving a bit of fuel direct still wont fire. Last shop we had it in suggested the compression was ok so I have not gone down the replacement sleeve/piston yet. We did find what looked like the smallest of air leaks maybe at the pinch bolt so we sealed it, and everywhere else while we had it off but still no go. All needles are good, just wont fire My boy wants to just convert to electric but I want a working nitro in the house hehe. Can anyone suggest anything else i might be able to try. Piston/Sleeve quite expensive dont want to replace that unless 100% it would fix it. TIA

Yeah I guess so, I am no expert just want to get a working nitro. If there is another engine that will fit right in then I’ll think about it

After being sold a dud I’m told by my local rc shop that I need to replace engine on hyper 7. Currently it has a .21 3 port engine. Was wondering if anyone has a working engine for sale that I could use
