Were about in Sussex are you? I just got myself a crawler so trying to find a few places to go, at the moment I’m just going to a local woods with a very old sand quarry thing

A little clip I shot and edited very quickly on the phone showing a lap a little better. Slowly improving the track adding clay to some of the corners to get a bit more grip.

Ended up building a small track myself and now after finding a very good deal have a i-lap timing system on the way. I still have a fare bit to do on the track, at the moment it’s quite sandy soil so in the process of introducing some clay into it. If anyone else is in the sussex area and fancy’s a few fun races in the near future drop me a pm.

does anyone know if there is anywhere down south racing 1/14 or 1/12 scale any longer? the one place I found locally in Sussex no longer runs them and I cant seam to find anywhere else without having to go huge distances? I have been on the brca website but I cant seam to even find the dates of any uk series? has it all died off now?

Think I found the answer am I right in saying 24mm? edit hang on that doesn’t sound right what exactly is 24mm? Is that the width?

Cheers many thanks I will have a look on hk for some nanotech. By grass and pavement I meant rally cross style in that I’m thinking a little patio/garden track maybe fun. Looks like 1/10 touring cars have some cool looking rims though. Is there a spasific size? Odviosly 12mm hex . I have not heard of dying rims so that’s very interesting. I would like to get into racing the mini’s but not yet found anywhere down south (sussex) where they do so. thanks again

So I have just got back in to roc after 20 years and I picked up a used emb-1 of eBay. I have been reading through this thread slowly but seeing as it’s been a while since anyone posted on here I was just wondered what battery’s people are running now. I’m loooking at probably just a 2s to start with. The other thing I need some advice on is what tires to run for general garden basing on grass and pavement, and to that also where is a good place to look for some nice wheel rims rather than just the standard white discs?
