  1. Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it.
  2. Hi Nitroholic, I am now at my wits end with this car, it is constantly either chewing up gears and has even stripped the thread of the clutch bell. I have checked the bearings they are fine and swapped the carrier for a metal one but I know its the gear mesh that's not right. I have complained to RC Modelz and they say it's down to giving the car too high revs when starting off or trying to make wheel spins, this is just crap because we having been doing this at all. I have now just put in a new clutch bell, new pinion and new spur, I have attached photos of how the mesh now looks, the teeth are barely touching. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
  3. The car was brought new from RCmodelz and the plastic gear shredded after just the 3rd run, though my lad was running it through slightly long wet grass which I think may have put too much stress on it
  4. I have swapped the plastic gear, pinion and clutch bell for a 19/55 set from RCmodelz, maybe its just me but I always used to mesh my gear on my electric RC with a piece of paper between the gear and pinion. Will put a picture up when I get chance.
  5. Hi, I have recently brought a KM Baja 001, this is my first petrol car. I have shredded the plastic gear and have replaced it but don't see how you can adjust the gear mesh. I have watch a few you tube videos and people just seem to slot the new gear in place and put the cover back on without adjusting the mesh. My gears seem to have a bit too much play in them for my liking, does anyone now how to adjust them? Any help would be appreciated.
