    Tamiya tt01

Hi looking for a 1/10 tamiya self build kit such as escort cosworth, subaru or similar ideally a tt01 chassis. Don't mind if it's part built as long as all parts are there. Thanks any help would be much appreciated
  2. I'm after a hyper st or similar truggy for brushless conversion
  3. its alot of hassle to post due to size and weight would rather collection.
  4. Yama buggy roadrunner 30cc, flysky 2.4ghz transmitter and reciever, alloy shocks and arms . Its approx 12 months old has had very little use, just add fuel and batteries for transmitter to run.
  5. How long did you run it for ? Have you got a link cable to program esc to see if lipo cut off is on and at the right voltage. I shorted one of my original lipo's by connecting it wrong as it's hard to see and the connectors as they are the same size + or -. But it does sound as if they have been run down to far, were the lipo's warm or swollen ? My connectors where all correct I have separated the bridging cable and added an anti spark connector so it's alot harder to connect wrong.
  6. I ran mine on 6s using 2 3s 5000mah 70c packs and it was pants maybe ok with a different motor.
  7. The car is great, if your running at stock settings 40c lipo's are fine and the thing is as quick as a 5b petrol, but once you alter gearing or punch settings you will need a higher c rating as the esc cuts out when you gun it which I'm guessing is the packs not suppling enough power.
  8. Zippy compact 4s 5800 40c from hobbyking uk, sorry haven't a clue how to post a link on here.
  9. I don't think it's essential to change the diff oil straight away I did it for peace of mind, mine had what seemed to be engine oil in it. The battery box is a pain I cut a hole in the battery box lid about 100mm x 120mm which made things easier and helps keep the battery's cool.
  10. 190x98x50mm height of box is 50mm with lid on.
  11. Everything on the 5b fits but not 100% sure about the motor mount. Couldn't get it in english but I haven't looked at it for a while there may have been an update by now.
  12. 5500mah 40c they are fine at factory setting , not enough punch when you up the settings.
  13. All going well no breakages, definitely need some higher c packs.
  14. Gt3b and gt3c have excellent range.
  15. I've fitted a castle cap pack and originally thought that somehow this could be the issue so removed it with no change reduced punch and all was well, refitted cap pack now so seems like batteries are the issue if you want to max out the esc.
  16. To be honest it's more than quick enough with the punch at default which is 5 on a scale from 1 to 30 and is more than capable of lighting the rears up on any surface, I was just curious of how much grunt it had so maybe when my packs need replacing I'll look at something like 90c packs.
  17. 2 X zippy 5800mah 40c and 2 X turnigy 5000mah 40c ,when the punch was reduced to about a third it runs fine.
  18. Hitec 5805mg I have one in my blackout and one in my baja , had them for nearly 2 years now and they have been faultless.
  19. I've not had much chance to run it yet due to having a husky puppy, but I slicked a pair of tarmac tires in the street in less than ten minutes. I did turn the punch up to about 3/4 and the esc would cut out when I gave it full throttle off the mark, turns out my 40c packs haven't the power required so going to look at higher c packs.
