Cheers, typically I don’t have a BT module for it, don’t suppose your local to me to help (Lee On Solent)? When you updated the TX, RX & ESC what options did you get, does it allow you to select the specifc model it’s all running on?

No not from eBay, from a fellow RC'r. It was originally from a Xmaxx then used on a Slash with a HW WP-SC8 ESC, no calibration issues reported on either. I've trawled info and can find no mention of a XL5 incompatibility, have you located something? I'm talking with TRX support, they've had me do the usual resets and ESC calibration but no joy, awaiting more info from them. I can fool the ESC to calibrate (sort off) using the wheel channel to set the FWD/REV ends and I get the correct ESC confirmation led blinks, if I then move it to the throttle channel I get full speed proportional throttle but only on reverse stick, and very slow in FWD, if I then invert the FWD to REV in the HCU, FWD has good stick range but the car physically runs backwards so I’ve had to swap the motor +/- wiring. I can get forward but now only get about 10% Rev, it barely moves backwards.

Hi, is there anyone with the TSM 6533 RX & 6528 TX running the Brushed XL5 ESC (latest blue version)? I’m struggling to get the ESC to calibrate correctly, tried 2 ESC’s and have the same results on both. The calibration doesn’t complete fully and the end result is the throttle control is max with the slightest touch of the stick, spent hours now going through all options in the TQi manual and various reset procedures but can’t seem to make it work correctly. Both ESC’s calibrate fine with my Traxxas AM setup and the throttle is nice and proportional which makes me think there is some sort of incompatiblity between the TQi models I have and the XL5 ESC. Ok, cheers, I've ordered a 16T and will give it a go.

It might be too tall a gearing, good for fast road but may struggle with grassy, dirt jump tracks. Did you have them for a fast road setup?

Hi, Anyone got unwanted spur or pinion gears for a Traxxas Stampede? Ive got 19 / 86 combo currently but would like a lower pinion and maybe a 90 spur. Any spares around? Cheers.
