  1. Thanks - pulled it apart today - the disc itself was a full circle rather than having ""straight"" sides to locate on the driveshaft cup. It was never going to grab the xmsn. Question - how tight or loose should the new brake disc be? One video I have seen and the disc is really loose. I reinstalled to have no drag in the brake off position - hope this is ok. Thanks Simon
  2. Hi, still getting to grips with gifted RC Nitro 4WD. Car does not stop or appear to brake. I checked servo and linkages all appear to operate correctly. I have noticed that the brake disc spins freely. I assume this is not correct. Am I right? Should the disc only rotate when the tx is turning? Thanks Simon
  3. I adjusted the idle - seems to hold now and the trim on the remote helps. Now to find a wide open space to run and have fun. Thanks Simon
  4. thanks Any generic tips to adjust the Tickover? How do I check the clutch? Thanks Simon
  5. Hi, friend gave me nitro 4wd. Got it started on a block and sounds good. However the wheels are always engaged. The throttle appears to respond correctly to the remote commands both in normal and reverse, throttle trim responds too. I have not put it on the ground yet as I assume it will fly off an d I will not be able to stop it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Simon
