  1. Great call on using the epoxy to save some money. Does the quadcopter fly the same after?
  2. What was YOUR WORST crash, how did it happen and how much did it cost you?
  3. Hi Monday, Dragon Link, TBS Crossfire, and FR Sky R9 are all well known long range options for long range transmission. (I don't remember about Dragon Link but Crossfire and R9 both run at 900 Mhz) For FPV, I echo Bajadre's suggestions for either 5.8Ghz video (Look at the 5.8Ghz Clearview Race Video Receiver) or 2.4ghz video (Check out the TBS Groundstation 2.4 Ghz) or you can even go as far down as a 1.3Ghz FPV video. (Remember that the lower the frequency, the better the penetration rate through objects and longer the range.) Hope this helps!
  4. I'm a local New Yorker but have lived between New York & Beijing, for work in Africa, Asia & the Middle East for about 10 years now.
  5. Thanks Nick! ? For this particular flight I used a 6" Freestyle Drone that I built, FR Sky Taranis transmitter with TBS Crossfire long range module, and Fatshark HD3 goggles. If you're interested in the exact parts used on the quad-copter, you can find it under the description of the videos on YouTube.
