  1. HI, thanks for the comment,..all my cars are runners,by hook or by crook! That said I usually use the sports hall at the college where i work so there are no crashes.. no dirt and plenty of space... so no one gets to whack them apart from me... so it's a bit like a shelf queen derby!
  2. Hi All, first thread so assuming I keep it TC, and they all are as I race them in the local sports hall and the tyres are rubber... (hopefully the photos will get me any rookie dispensation required on this forum if it's all in the wrong place.. First up, Captain Phasma's Tesla Pace Car. I mounted the Lunchbox on the normal rear posts but had to dogleg a couple of other post mounts together at the front.. the wheel arches are slightly rearwards but i went for a compromise of front mount holes and practicality... and I spacered out the sidepipes so the partiallt cover the battery tray... all in all I think it is a good compromise... this week my mini action camera should arrive as I want the lunchbox to be my creeper-video van so I can record some actual TC track action from inside the van! Thanks all, hope you like the TCs, and thanks for looking! Slack
  3. Thanks chap! I'm looking forward to my 4pm industrial estate car park track session this afternoon. Always fun!
  4. Hi, I'll try a mock up this week but I think it will be a combination of normal post mounts with a bit of vintage meccano framework. I think the lunchbox will work well. I'll get busy finishing off the chassis asap. Thanks for the comment fella., Slack
  5. Yes bud. Chopped and changed various action man helicopters.. Canoes..what have you... And did the dioramas etc. Good fun... Keeps me off the streets!! Thanks for looking..hope you enjoyed the pics. Cheers for the welcome. Trying to decide where to go outside for a 1\10 rally session.!!
  6. Heh all, into 1\10 for a few years now.. Got a few cars which I'll photo and upload..currently building a lunchbox on hopped up m05 chassis and converting a Rough Rider to have an m06 tub instead of the clear plastic so I can use my usual Nimh batteries. Does anyone know of any indoor tracks near Portsmouth? My one at Fareham Raceway closed so apart from booking sportshalls I'm lost for a clean track... Any ideas? Cheers Slack (Also into 1\6 https://www.flickr.com/photos/el_slackelastic/ )
