thanks for your replies, i have the acoms techniplus 40mhz radio system plus i am already running the tamiya superstck type r motor for the last year without any probs so far.

hi guys, would a reedy stockstar 27t motor be ok with a tamiya teu-101bk esc.i know the esc will do 23 turn motors but am just worried as the rpm of the reedy motor is quite high will the esc get too hot or give out altogether. (btw this is to go in a tamiya madbull). thanks in advance.

just bought a new motor for my mad bull.i had the sport tuned motor by tamiya,just replaced with the tamiya super stock type r.much faster,now need to get used to power sliding around corners.compared to the sport tuned motor the run time appears to be no different using 3000 nmh packs,i am so pleased.

neat car.i am not too good at doing mods such as that but will stick to doing the basic upgrades.i dont how far you can can go with regards to motors and esc's.

yeah using the teu-101bk esc that came with the car.judging by your reaction to your upgrades you have alot

i have upgraded the bearings and added the rs-540 sport tuned motor.i am also thinking of upgrading the dampers

yes i have a mad bull with a couple of upgrades,cheap car but great fun
