  1. Here’s a few pics they are a little out of order. It’s all I have for now I’m waiting for motor mount and motor to come off backorder. Build Specs: Plow Frame Mount and Plow Frame is 1/2” 6061 Aluminum. 3/4” C-channel for the blade mount. Plow frame mount I made replaces the front hinge pin holder I added Axis RC brass inserts into the Front Diff housing for a little added strength. The Lift Mount is made from 1/4” Delrin and I’m using a Xmaxx Servo I added a carbon fiber brace to mimic the Xmaxx mounting. The LED’s The side plates are carbon fiber with 1/8” aluminum top plate. Motor HobbyStar 580kv ESC BL5 200amp Batteries SMC 6700mAh 4s x2 XT150 Connectors 62 Tooth Spur Gear 12 Pinion Gear (probably going to drop down to a 9 tooth ) 500k in the Front and Rear Diff RTV Silicon in the Center Diff to act like a Cush drive Locker FlySky 6 Channel Stick Transmitter Short Video testing out the control I will add more as I get more done.
  2. I agree i never run aluminum arms the factory plastic ones are strong and the aluminum ones are a waste of money and don't hold up to bashing. I've never ripped any part out on my 5T using their shock towers. I machine my own stuff also but for $30 from dollar hobbies for front and rear brand new LOSI take offs it was a no brainer not worth it for me to make them for that price
  3. Im not bashing just talking from personel experience. I bought a KM X2 DELUXE Roller for a brushless build and was surprised by how sloppy the Center diff was it was like there was no bearings in there. The aluminum is pretty weak I bent the shock towers on the first roll over. I own a Losi 5T and never had bent one on it so I replaced them with stock Losi towers for cheap , dollar hobbies $30 for the front and rear brand new take offs. The front and rear diffs sounded and felt horrible but we all already know that they are problematic. But just like any rc go over it loctite any bolt that goes Into aluminum and replace and repair as needed.
  4. I dont have any specific tires for the pavement yet. Just my factory Losi Nomads and the KM tires. I'm going to try some slicks next year probably some 4" wide BRP'S with adapters. I was going to do a wrap but the custom air brush job is $125 compared to a $75 wrap that I would have to Install that I hear is a bear to do. I should have the body back Next week and I will post up some pics and try to get a video also
  5. That payloader is awesome!!!!
  6. I will try to take pics as I go then do a thread on it. I always want to take pics as I go but you know how that always goes. Lol.
  7. That wouldn’t be any fun. Lol I’m just building this for the fun of it. If it doesn’t plow good it will be no big deal could always make it something else. But I’m sure it will plow very well I’ve seen plenty of 1/10 and 1/8 scale plow trucks plow very well and they are much lighter than the 5T. The plow setup shouldn’t be too heavy I’m going to be using either aluminum or Delrin for the mount and schedule 40 PVC pipe for the plow itself
  8. Thanks guys i can get a 380kv it has a D wind is that no good I've seen people talk about the Y winds being better ? Its going to take a while to build but I will post pics its going to be a 4 way plow left and right will be servo controlled as will up and down I would really like to find some small waterproof linear actuators to run everything to make it as real as possible but I think I'm going to stick with servos for now. I have a airplane 6 channel Stick transmitter so that will be fun to get use to. Lol
  9. Yes the max6 That’s what I was thinking so I guess the Max5 it will be. Lol
  10. If anyone wants to know the reason for this build well Just because. Lol My question is if I run a 580kv motor on 6s , 58 tooth spur and 12 tooth pinion max RPM would be 14616rpm Would I have enough power and would I need a 200amp ESC or could I run a 160amp? This truck will never be bashed Just for playing in the snow plowing. Thanks
  11. Thank you I do but I'm not good at uploading them. Lol. I'll try it later on.

  13. Hi guys just signed up here. Im in the US Here's my setup in my Brushless 5T Hobbywing Max5 200Amp ESC Dynamite 800kv fuse motor (DBXLE Motor) XT150 Connectors Castle Dual Motor Fan Batteries are SMC 4s 9200 mah 90c constant x2 RC Madness Conversion Kit ( Had to machine the inserts to get the correct mesh) 58 tooth stock spur RC MONSTER 16 tooth pinion Diff fluid 100k frt , 200k center , 60k rear Mechanical Brakes makes a big difference when your not straining your ESC. DDM 2s Lipo 7200mah for the Servos and the Lights. And its an animal I didn't have the cash to go with a MGM and this was an experiment but has been working very well and my temps are great the hottest I've seen 110F motor , 105F ESC and batteries were 106F Batteries are normally around 80-90F. And to top it off I'm getting 30 min run times So if anyone wants to build a 5T on a budget don't be afraid to use these parts. It runs right next to my friends XMAXX that does 43mph. I'm going to GPS it to get an actual mph. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. ETA: I have not run it WOT to see how long it lasts or how hot it would get but my temps and run time is from general bashing just not all out until the batteries are dead . Just having a good time ETA: Took it out and bashed it pretty good and temps were 125F motor , 110F ESC and the batteries were the same
