Yer HPI servos from box have always been ***** lol even in there 1/5 scales 6kg servos.... lol, excellent I’ll put it in thanks!

Well it’s had a good clean and I’ve wound the brake adjuster in and the brakes are still... poop... now I’m thinking about swoping out the standard SF20 6kg servo to a savox I have laying around SC0251MG which has 16kg of torque, this should be more then enough for this right?

Heard nothing but good about the 5ive, my friend has the dbxl and step dad has the MTXL but we are all new to 1/5’s

Lol I’ve had this 2 weeks and is my first 1/5 scale, was lucky to grab one as the “other vendor” only received two in stock and I had one and someone else had one within the hour of coming into stock lol, I chose HPI as tbh I’ve always been a fan, and just loved the look of the Baja 5T

Yer I gave it a good go over and thread locked etc, surely if it was an air leak it’d be doing it all the time, this was only revving up slightly when I applied the brakes and let it go back to neutral it would rev up. It’s possibly something’s gone wrong somewhere lol, if I accelerate and let it roll to a stop or if I blip the throttle it’s fine, if I apply brakes then let go of trigger it would rev up lol, weird. But I’ll stick the hump on charge and test that out at the weekend. Just want some damm brakes lol.

Not that I can remember, I did adjust the end points on the steering but that was on the first run because it was steering one way and hardly anything the other way, then tinkered with steering trim as it was pulling seriously to the left, but that was on first outting, second was spot on, third outting I started encountering the braking issues, but it could of been the hump pack getting low on juice I spose..

I’m not sure myself mate, it was like all of a sudden the brakes just went real crap and hardly worked, also it did start reving up every time I was letting go of braking which was weird... so I turned it off and packed up as I didn’t want something serious happening lol

Just sucks how you pay all this money and on the third tank the brakes are naff, hasn’t even been bashed hard tbh just steady break in.
