Yes, well worth the extra cash. I have a Taigan Tiger 1 and a Torro King Tiger and Torro Sherman. These are all metal versions, with Infra-red battle systems. Never had any trouble with them,got the three of them from rctanks.de great service. My first tank was a Heng Long Sherman, which I got from rctanks.de. Had nothing but bother with it, with both tracks breaking within minutes of each other, plus a few more problems with it. Dominique from rctanks.de changed this for me and I got the Taigan Tiger 1, and then I bought the other two models. I personally would not touch Heng Long, you can upgrade,but if you can go to the extra cost of Taigan/Torro I would not hesitate. Martin

Received a new King Tiger today from rctanks.de. This one tested and is all okay, it’s a lot heavier than the Tiger 1. Now have a Tiger 1,King Tiger, and Sherman,so outnumbered! Martin

Received the King Tiger this morning,problems! There were quite a few faults with it, which I am surprised with ordering from rctanks.de. Sorted it out though,sending it back tomorrow and requested a replacement. Despite this, rctanks.de are still great to deal with. martin

I have really got the bug now, thinking of ordering a Taigan all metal King Tiger from rctanks.de.Had some good fun with the iR battle system today on the Tiger and Sherman. Martin

Gave it a little run indoors today, but going to give it a better run outside tomorrow, weather permitting. Much better than the Heng Long, track links are closed type as the Tiger. Martin

Thanks very much for that. Definitely going order tomorrow. I was only worried about the tracks, and the trouble that I did have with the Hang Long Sherman, but Dominique has assured me that they are much better quality tracks. Going by the Tiger, they are very durable, had the Tiger on long grass(before we cut the front lawn) and it was no bother at all. Martin

Going to order the IR version, as my Tiger 1 is also the IR version. Dominique at rctanks.de has assured me that the tracks are far better quality than the Heng Long Sherman that I originally ordered. How does the IR battle system actually work? Martin
