Hi How do i reduce my used data allowance. I can find no way of deleting stuff and therefore I cannot upload anything to the forum as I get told I do not have enough allowance ?? Help Ta Rob

Hi all, After some standard speed runs on grass yesterday the truck stopped. No response to radio. Max 5 esc and brand new stock motor. Esc will turn on, acknowledge the 8s batteries then nothing but a constant red led. I’ve tried to reset esc, controller but no luck still the same. Any ideas ? Max5 is 6 months old. Hi. So I’ve shredded three spur gears one after the other. I’ve checked and retested everything I can, motor fixings are correct etc. Found that the motor centre drive pin appears to move. I think this might be caused uneven rotation of the pin and the vibration shattering the Spurs. Anyone else had this. ? I’m thinking new motor. [emoji17] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Hi It is a hard case pack but not bullet connectors. I have carefully broken open the case, the wire are soldered directly onto the cells. I've stopped there for now until I can work out the way to remove the old wires and replace with new ones. Ta

Thanks guys. I stripped the wire back to contact with cell.. All corroded and powdery. I'm not going to mess with rewiring a series 3s lipo pack :-( Regards Rob

Hi all, Went to charge this 3s lipo and the balance charger came up with "Connection Error". Checked the connectors all appeared ok but still nothing on charger or car. So I thought I would re-do the connectors. I clipped and stripped the red wire and noticed the wires were soft and giving off a blue powder. I'm guessing for reasons unknown at some point the wire has shorted or over heated. Any thoughts ? and does this mean the lipo is fried? Thanks

I am in the USA Xmaxx owners FB group. And it is cringeworthy how they bling their trucks up !. I posted a pic of my plane back indestructible bodied, covered in mud Xmaxx and got messages from several yanks that " I showed a lack of care for the truck and they would never do that" WTF ! They rave and sell kidneys to get the Snap On versions.. the van is just plain stupid and Snap On must be laughing all the way to the bank with the advertising. You can always tell an American...... they just won't listen to you. !!! I rest my case.
